Before investing in any ICO, deep research must be done to know everything about the project which reviewing the team is paramount to know it's composition, check their information on LinkedIn to verify their identity and do background check to avoid getting scammed

Many scam projects use fake pictures for team members. Checking the team members is one of the easiest way to avoid scammers, but keep in mind that the fact that team members are real persons doesn't guarantee anything.

Reviewing of the team member of a potential project is very necessary and is the fundamental part an investors should look for in investing his or her money into. The team public reputation goes a long way for project's vision actualization. If the team refuse to make their team public for everyone to see that project might be a potential scam. Every genuine ico will always make everything transparent.

Most ICO's tend to hide their members behind the project. Is not it necessary to know about the team also who are building an ICO project, including other factors of it?

if an ICO project tries to hide the identity of their team and all the members that involved in, what happens in my opinion is the opposite, it will not attract investors' attention because from the start the ICO was suspicious, so investors would think it would be better to leave something unclear like that. Most ICO scams have such characteristics

According to me, knowing the team of an ICO is important. By knowing the team, we can know their previous project and how it works. It's one of many ways to protect ourselves from the scam. I think a good team will also build a good project.

Yes it is necessary. Its your responsibility to know the companies team behind, who are the people you are trusting with your money.

If you don't have time to check the time then you should stop investing in ICOs because it is necessary to know who are they.

of course everything becomes research starting from the team and developers.
the expertise of the team is a benchmark in the success of an ico project, especially long term. the important thing is products and technology

It is necessary to check the team and the actual product behind them. Most of the ICOs are bullshit which showed when 99% of them failed during the bear market.

first thing when I analize ICO, I look at teamprofiles in LinkedIn. if they have good old profiles with good marks - that is the good sign for the project.

I wouldn't invest in projects where team members are hidden  It's necessary, of course, to consider all aspects of the projects, white paper, MVP and the roadmap, but I don't really understand for what purposes it is necessary to hide the project developers.

I can’t remember coming across any ICO that doesn’t show the members that are behind the project 🤔but if you come across such an ICO then I will advise you not to even think about going for it cause that is scam in a broad daylight lol. And it’s always good to know everything about an ICO, especially the team that are behind and many others before you can decide on whether to invest or not.

Mate no one invest money blindly these days. They cross-check everything like how it can benefit to them, they check their team, development etc. it's already written in our fate like what will happen. Sometimes you research on a coin and you look at their popularity everything and you invest. But in your time if the value goes down no one can do anything, I am not saying you will lose your money. But you have to wait for a long time to get back a good return.

If I see such an ICO I won’t even need anyone to tell me it’s pure scam. How can others show their members and you will be only one that is having members hidden, that means it’s scam and there is no explanation to be made for it. And it’s good to check out an ICO very well before you go for it. There are some of them that shows their members but at the end up it turns out to be a scam.

Knowing the tea  one if the key factor of a good ICO, but it's not a guarantee the project is legit or will succeed.

the identity of the team is to be published to the public. This will become the deciding factor whether projects actually carried out by the right person or not. When the identity of the only hidden or not displayed is certainly becoming a problem that should be questioned visibility.

yes surely it is very necessary. we must know all the background of the project developer team that we want to invest. because currently there are many scam projects that use data or photos of other people to be made into their team, we must be vigilant. one of the benchmark projects is quality is the team, and you have to know that.
I wonder if there is anyone in the forum that doesn't understand the importance of researching the developers behind the coin, because the market of icos is full of scammers and I like many people in the forum have wasted my time and money in useless projects and I cannot afford the luxury to do so again.

I am curious about how you review the team? Many projects can bluff and you can't find real developers. This is easy to be deceived. Unless you can reach out to the developer team and get face-to-face with them. Otherwise ICO risks are very high.

Reviewing the ICO project team is the most critical step, because the strength and credibility of the team determines whether the project will succeed!

Lol, team now is probably one of the most important thing in ICO analysis! Now there is a trend for Korean teams, and also if team is famous and well experienced the project is gonna moon!

That’s true. I don’t see any reason why an ICO would hide its team, that’s very suspicious if it’s true, and it should ring a bell to your ears that this is a scam. I have never seen a legit ICO that has hidden their team why on earth would they do that, unless they don’t want people to trust them? ICOs with good teams tends to succeed more than those without a good team.
