Thinking about trying them out. $20k worth of transaction = 20k bithumb cash, I assume its in korean won right?

Yeah so its around $17.5K (todays exchange rate). Bithumb cash is basically their in-site currency that is used to buy cryptocurrency and coupons.

You can buy them for when you make large transactions so you get a discount on commission fee.

Been quite a few articles written about these sort of promotions. Mainly to do with wash trading to take advantage of these promotions. Apparently, they don't even mind if you're deliberately doing wash trading, since the inflated volumes help them gain ranks on charts. Higher the ranks, more prominence, more likely to pull new clients.

Say what you want, but they do seem to be making the desired waves.
