The final update to all who pre-registered with Bitcoin II for the CSD has just been emailed out. For Day Zero participants, the recent decline is BTC will not affect you. Beyond that day, there are changes to allocations.

If any coins are left from the initial Coin Seeding Distribution on December 12, then they will be available to general applicants from December 13.If you wish to be notified in that event, the relevant form is available on the website.

For the rest who pre-registered, whether as an individual, group or an organisation, the CSD will be open from 0000 UTC December 12.

i got my email about the 12.12 coin distribution. tried to email and get some early but got reply saying 0000 UTC on 12 dec is earliest that those who registered can get them. will be a late night for me in my timezone later on!

For pre-registrants, the Bitcoin II CSD starts in just under one hour, 0000 UTC 12/12. For everyone else, although it is expected that all coins will be taken, if there are any coins left they will be available one day later, December 13. Please expect small delays if sending order requests close to the opening time as high demand is anticipated.

Quick update that as of 1100 UTC about 1,800,000 out of the 2,100,000 BCII have been sold, so over 85% taken up by early adopters. Adoption has been skewed by several individual tranches of over 200,000 taken within the first hour. Looking increasingly likely to be a Day Zero exclusive for pre-registrants in terms of the initial Coin Seeding Distribution.

The next opportunity to obtain BCII is likely to be at full launch 01/01/2019.

The Bitcoin II initial Coin Seeding Distribution is now concluded. All 10% (2,100,000) have been purchased by a mix of pre-registered institutional investors and lucky individuals at a Day Zero rate of 0.1 BTC per 1,000 BCII.

There are now no more coins available until the full Blockchain launch on 01/01, when several medium and large exchanges will also be listing.

Purchasers will receive further details on their holdings along with the sale distribution over the next few days.
