Hello Bitcoin community,

PrivCoin has decided to donate 100% of our profits to charities in an effort to help make our world a better place. Please help us find charities that meet the following criteria:

1) Charity must be legitimate and registered in any country
2) Charity must accept Bitcoin
3) Charity must post their address publicly without any KYC for donations.

Please use the following template to help suggest people who can use free Bitcoin

URL of charity:
Short description of what the charity is known for:
URL of their website that includes their Bitcoin address:

We will provide signed messages proving coins came from us on an occasional basis. We'll donate 1 BTC worth and prove it within 72 hours but future donations will be on a delay to avoid people calculating what our profits are.

That is a good initiative tho,I am not sure any charity from my country accepts donations in bitcoin so I will let you know about the details when I get to know about it.

Don't let your money to fall into the hads of scammers, verify the charity address before sending any donations bro.

I'm sorry, but you're sounding like the politicians of my country that when they want to make donations go on TV channels and newspapers for everyone to know that it's them who are making the donations, of course this sounds like they're make political campaign. Why you do not convert your bitcoin to FIAT and then donate to charity institutions in your country? this will save you from headaches and you will make sure your money is going to help people.

Also, why don't you spend the amount you are willing for donation to educate cryptocurrencies/blockchain for charity institutions near to you? This will be better and help spread the world about new technology so next time they will be ready to recieve charity in all financial kinds.

Why you guys are like blaming @Privcoin for what he wants to do. There aren't enough people donating to a charity at least once a year, and money is always needed.

@ FleurTunisienne
There are much more urgent situations than launching a program to teach the poors about cryptocurrency

@Champion Coin
There are a lot of them.

Either we are planning on running for office or we want to bring more awareness to Bitcoin whales that they can donate to charity and help the world just like the Pineapple donator did.

We just don't know which good charities accept Bitcoin and crowdsourcing it is a good plan.

every country has homeless individuals, you can donate your money there. convert it to fiat and tell the world the donation comes from Privcoin, if people sees interest to know you i think it will lead them to crypto and may be even here in bitcointalk. this thread particularly. or there is gofundme.

Yeah, where are you going to get funds for all of your expenses? Most project promises 100% on their investors but then it turns out they can't so near the ending they change it to 80% - 90%.

This is a charity work I know, but please let's be real.

Obviously they take the funds for their expenses through the donations.

The amount they do not use is called the "profit" and distributed.

That is why I'm asking about their expenses.  Smiley

Oh okay. thank you for clarifying Smiley I thought this was like most ICOs. So you are asking how many percentages from the donation their going to use for expenses.

A sort of and i agree into your suggestion that convert that 1 BTC to cash and simply find some local charities on the place will really not be hassle at all.

Its not blaming but only a suggestion.People are free to post up on whats on their minds.  Cheesy

Good luck mate. I hope you can help more people on your donated profit.

I know some of the charities here in our country but I do not own those charity and I am out of it. A certain charity is all about a congregation running a free school for intermediate level for boys and girls. The school offer free meals, board and lodging, and etc. in return the school wants the graduate to get an opportunity for employment. You can PM me to help you for this if you are interested. I could help you get in touch with them.

I'll never get why there's so much hate when people want to give away something (either for nothing or for something). I'm all for questioning motives, but let's not knock down attempts just because they have a hint of charity.

@OP Obviously, a lot of charities will qualify, but you'd need to provide some other information yourself, particularly if you don't want to remain anonymous (it would appear you wouldn't, since you're donating profits and not wealth). Answering Vod's question would be a good start.

Would you accept a 3rd party application (or a brokerage of an application?). I have a couple of small community projects I know of in need of some multi-year funding for long-term hygiene and sanitation activities.

PrivCoin has decided to donate 100% of our profits to charities
~future donations will be on a delay to avoid people calculating what our profits are.
I'm confused: if you want to donate all your profits, why keep the amount a secret?

Why you do not convert your bitcoin to FIAT and then donate to charity institutions in your country?
OP runs a mixer, the last thing he wants is to compromise his privacy.

We just don't know which good charities accept Bitcoin and crowdsourcing it is a good plan.
I would expect some charities to be easily convinced to accept Bitcoin in exchange for a 1 Bitcoin donation. Even if it's just a one-time thing, they can easily cash it. The problem with this would be you can't know if it really ends up in the charity, or someone else's pockets.

I'll never get why there's so much hate when people want to give away something (either for nothing or for something). I'm all for questioning motives, but let's not knock down attempts just because they have a hint of charity.
I said this before, and I still feel the same way:
To ChangeNow should they read this thread: If you either refund us the coin we sent back where it came from OR provide a swap to the coin we wanted, we will remove this post but here's the best part: We are not going to tell you which transaction was ours so either refund every user you're holding and give everybody their coins back or provide them the promised swap.
I've always appreciated the way you do business!

Back to the charities: do you have any preference? Big charities are kinda like corporations, with employees, directors, air travel and business expenses. On the other end of the spectrum there are small local charities that run on volunteers, such as local animal shelters or some rescue services.
And since it's Bitcoin related: how about non-profit organisations? There's Contribute to Bitcoin Core, which I don't think is a charity, or Support the Free Software Foundation. Wikipedia loves donations (but I'd classify this as a large "corporation"), and even The Pirate Bay accepts Bitcoin (but as much as I like their website, I'm pretty sure they run it for profit instead of charity).

I stumbled upon PrivCoin's donation to Tails, back in 2019.
