I have problem in BITMEX exchange
Unable to open order limit or market and this message appears


" Order could not be submitted: Value of positions and orders exceeds account Risk Limit "

Are there any suggestions to resolve this problem?

The error is self explanatory. Your account has a “Risk Limit” and you’re trying to exceed it.

This doesn't sound good at all. BitMEX is currently a very respected exchange in our Cryptocurrency Exchange List, rated among the top 3. Please provide your rating (it is important that not only the people who have had no issues with the relevant exchange votes, we want the score to represent all customers, not only happy ones). I hope you at least found the BitMEX fees competitive, you can't find much better fees anywhere else... Smiley

Just wanted to say I am now having the same issue unfortunately.   Just started happening today.   No matter what leverage or amount I put in I get the message stating it exceeds my risk limit.  Tried changing the risk limit to the max and using zero leverage and only buying 1 unit.  Still says same thing.   Been using Bitmex for months...  Hopefully it resolves itself soon.

I tried to search if they have a official account here and I found this thread [ANN] BitMEX - Bitcoin Mercantile Exchange Official Thread. Unfortunately, that thread is dead and the account BitMEXdotcom hasn't log on for the last 2 years. So it looks like they're enforcing KYC, not surprised at all since a lot of trading exchanges lately has succumb to government pressures requiring them a full KYC on all of their clients. If you're not comfortable giving them your personal data, then don't do it, simply as that.

What?  lol.  Nope, that response made no sense to me they sent me.  I asked more about it and they actually replied saying they sent the wrong message.   

My VPN was pointing to Canada where they are blocking trading and my IP address was coming from there so they were blocking my trading.   

So lesson going forward, don't point your VPN to location that is being blocked  Tongue
