HODL - The benefits of hodling cryptocurrencies

Well, if you believe so, then you must go on with it. Also the track record of BODL is good to, so it might emerge perfectly in the future, also even after the volatile nature, the coins are a bit stable in recent times. So the chance of loss is so low.

I would say holding a coin have benefits and this is a good thing for long-term investment. Even if I'm tempted to sell some of my tokens, i have to stick with my goals and wait for the tokens to rapidly increase its price. I started to see the real value of my tokens and some of them needs more time because the project should developed first.

Some people said that it is very risky holding but that was after December 2018 because before then we were all  praising the holders of they strong investment decision.  I think holding is the best way to make good profits from this cryptocurrencies market.

It is not applicable to all coins though. There are times when I regret not selling it earlier when the price is still good whereas compared to now, it is already around 10% of that price. During all time high, prices were good but now, it has already a smaller equivalent value. HODL would be good if the coin you are holding would be in demand in the future but then if we can see that state of the coins and tokens right now wherein some are slowly dying then HODL would not be a great idea then.

If the coin has good fundamentals though and it seems like in the future, the demand would be growing then HODLING it might be worth it. But for others then it would be great if  you can just buy and sell it as quick as possible.

We are on the bottom floor. So many people regret it because they have not sold their portfolios when it reaches the peak price. Remember about this time they can buy back again and some people said they have almost created 10x from their first portfolios.

I think there are two type of hodlers. One of them is hodling cause of obligation, because they bought high price and now they do no not want to get loss.  The others are reliable investors, they had examined and researched the project, now waiting to see the future.

Well, this is how the business works, its not a job and job has its own benefits and drawbacks. You can have a confirm salary but you can't more then that where as business works the other way, there is no fixed salary, it can go real high or real low. So i still prefer business, which crypto is, over jobs.

While I hodl very small amount of bitcoins, I have sold almost every alt coin I had. Price jumped so high that you had to be crazy not to sell everything you were hodling. I don't think we will see ever again so high coin values, this maybe was one time opportunity. I don't see long holding as an option any more, short is much better.

If your minds are being tortured now becuase of the market's condition then you have to find something interesting to calm yourself. Don't push yourself far from what it used to be with the market. Take time to consider buying as well while you are holding if you've got some spare cash.
