Hi all,

We've just finished first RTX 2070 benchmarks, results are I would say fine, read more here:

Let us know what do you think and what to test more. We won't be able to test it under windows, sorry.

Really no surprise here.
The new Nvidia GPU lineup has been a lot dissapointing with no RTX ON support yet in the real world, price point and now the mining performance.
The GTX 1080 is still a great buy and provides a better price to profit ratio than this card.
Anyway, nice benchmarking. I would love to see an update on benchmarks running on the Windows OS.

What mining software did you use in mining RVN? It seems the hashrate is awesome compared to gtx 1070.
For ethereum mining it looks like the result 10mh/s is a worst hashrate for EThash algo.

Anyway, but still it gives a good hashrate on RVN compared to other algo's and maybe developers will make a same as ETHpill that support RTX 1070 to improve the hashrate in the future.

NVidia is in no hurry to release any top notch GPU yet - simply because there is no real competition and 10-series is still capable enough to serve almost any games out there. Let's see how the tensor cores work out in real time uses and if nvidia keeps investing in that direction (but I guess they will).

I am pretty sure, they have some badass card on the hold, which they release as soon as AMD comes out with a new competitor. An interesting fact is, that GPU prices seem to rise again here and there - no doubt, they are still purchased for mining purposes, as nvidias still make profitable mining - not for newcomers and not for high-energy-priced regions but for those who have enough in the backyard to keep expanding.

So we've updated X16R/RavenCoin results and they are still good Smiley
We've tested ccminer, t-rex and z-miner. T-rex and z-miner gives similar results about 20 MH/s.
