If you had 10000$ where would you invest it?  I'm hoping for 10x in about 2 years, how would you personally split that money? There are so many altcoins that I dont know which to pick, I remember the top 5 altcoins from years ago and  now they are all gone, so should I only invest in  BTC end ETH or others like NEO, ADA and EOS?

One thing i am sure it is that spending the most of it in ETH will make it grow a thousand times more, as if the ETH 2.0 will be implemented, the expected price is 1000x of the price of today, hence spending most of it would make millions in just over 2 years of waiting.

From what he just said, it’s best for him to just invest in those coins he mentioned, cause they are the ones that are likely to get him close to his expectations. Coins like Bitcoin, ETH, Ripple, Stellar, ADA, NEO and the rest of them. Any other coin in the market might not get him that much. As for someone that knows how to trade, would be a really good idea if they invest part of that money in trading, but if you don’t know how to trade then don’t even try.

It will be too risky to invest 10 thousand in the cryptocurrencies. The guy will wait for the returns for a long time. Better, if the happy owner of these dollars buy some gold, or start a small business.

It is indeed, that there are lot of altcoins out there in the market. Now I suggest that you better check out the top 20 altcoins at the coinmarketcap first, then once you check them it, now the choice is yours of course of which among of them for you is the best coins to invest in, at least with these thing you have reference on it.

I would go with the NEO thing and ETHEREUM.
WHY?

With Ethereum we are just waiting for the ETH 2.0 with POS.
This will gain more than 10 percent in 2 years ( I think ).

About the NEO, even not doing buy and sell we can still gain about the GAS on their wallet so it is good to have..

Don"t forget that one of the characteristics of cryptocurrency is volatility, so it will be very difficult to predict a coin you will invest in two years time from know, so Waite until you get the cash, but meanwhile the only comfort zone for investment i no of is ETH AND BTC.

All we had left form the boom is ten thousand dollars, so I invested 6k in the arbitraging robot that gives out around 40 USD  day depending on the percentages, which is enough to keep us afloat right now and the rest I day trade a little with my wife. These are very hard times now and you really need to do your own research in this game to play it properly. We have made so many mistakes in not selling coins early enough or selling too early not getting the big profits that I am the last person to give advice.

It seems that you are still getting profits despite the bad conditions in which the market is immersed in, which is a lot better than what many people can say about how they are performing in the market, so if I were you I will not be worried at all because when the market begins to recover you are surely going to make a lot of profits thanks to your high level of skill.

I think if we tube at the bank, the results are not satisfactory. i recommend buying safe and profitable assets, such as property, where prices always go up every year

If you are aiming for a 10x of your money in 2 years span then you should find those cheaper altcoins that has potential to rise more than 10x of their current price. TRON, XLM, IOTA could be a good choice if you can consider but don't expect too much in this unpredictable market.

Time have changed and so is the trend in bitcoin altcoin trading. Now people do not save the coins for 5x 10x returns as market is too uncertain and coins does not give that much returns. Best approach is to get 10 to 15 percent profit from the coins and keep on repeating the trades.

If i have $10k in my wallet, i will buying several coin to reducing risk from volatile market. I will buying bitcoin with 40% from my funds and 60% for several altcoin. Ethereum, Elastos, EOS, NEO is good coin and i think its worth to hold for long term

Before stepping into the world of crypto or investment you should learn the origin of the coin that you want to invest thoroughly so that it is not wrong and loss later, this is necessary.
talking about money with $ 10,000 in dominal money is very big for me, we can invest in some coins for example:
1. Bitcoin (BTC)
2. Bitcoin Dianold (BCD)
3. Ethreum (ETH)
4. LiteCoin ,
5. NEO and
6. Dash
I think the 6 coins are enough to invest with $ 10,000 divided into 6 parts.

And i don't think any sound investor would think just within bitcoin and ethereum with that much money in hand. I mean, it's very similar to gambling if you don't consider other options.

I think this is a perfect time to hold 10,000$ in USD. You can easily buy almost 3 bitcoins with this amount and keep them save. This way you can earn many times more, infact 3x to 4x in about a year or so , when bitcoin bull market will return.

Under current market conditions, we have CEO's and major stockholders dumping their holdings in record numbers. On the real estate front, we have owners selling at reduced prices en masse with reports that another real estate crash could be incoming. Crypto may not be the most attractive investment atm. Part of the reason for this involves regulation eliminating some of the advantages crypto investments used to have--things that made them different from traditional investments or catered to demographics which institutional investment firms ignored.

There are markets which could have significant growth potential. Legalized marijuana could be worth a look. Saudi Arabia threatened to raise the price of oil if the west meddle in internal affairs relating to their censoring and murdering of a journalist. If the price of oil increases, some stocks like tesla could stand to benefit, although offhand I couldn't say which stocks would be best positioned to gain from a boost in oil prices. Chinese businesses could be worth shorting if the tariff war continues in earnest and related policies are passed.

Offhand I would say anything that creates large amounts of debt can often be profitable. Example of this, we have massive student loan debt issues--which could mean the businesses and institutions which are owed that debt are good investments. Its known that healthcare in the USA is super expensive and unaffordable--which could translate to healthcare stocks being worth picking up. People have probably heard on the news that the F-35 is extremely overbudget which could translate to lockheed martin stock being a good investment. That might be a negative and somewhat depressing way to look @ things. There definitely could be a significant correlation between large amounts of debt and hideous amounts of profit.

If you're dead set on crypto investment, I saw Tron's (TRX) CEO recently claim to have significant technical advantages over both ETH and EOS.

Its difficult for me to say what's hot and what's not. I really need to put more effort into researching things. Been slacking way too much.

And will hold it for many months until the new ATH will get.
The 1,000 USD will be for my Christmas budget for the kids and family.
i know investing is one of the best thing to do for the future.
But you family is also your future so why not invest some to them!

I believe that even how good our advices might be,still we can’t make you earn 100,000$ for just two years thats too big for this dip market.i think if you can extend for another year or so,then it may be possible.but if i were you,i will go ALL in for bitcoin

Would most likely invest a small amount in BTC ( 25% for diversity's sake) then the other 75% in a couple of moonshot Altcoins (SALT, ANON and maybe ZEC/ZEN)

One thing is certain that market will recover from here so why not to invest and stay invested in this market where we are given an opportunity to buy the coins at very less price and make money when it starts to rise. Last year people miss this opportunity but one should not miss it now.
