I would like to introduce you the SherCoin project. SherCoin is more than a cryptocurrency, it's an ecosystem. We are a Dubai based team (currently our office is in DIFC in currency house) and we are working on this project since 2017. SherCoin Ecosystem

The SherCoin team has realized that the best way to create a good cryptocurrency that will achieve mass adoption is by creating a multi-functional token that has more than one utility. Most of the altcoins are Ethereum-based coins that only offer one application. SherCoin features five different related applications in one. These five different business models all rely on the SHER coin. This Gives SHER coin Utility, unlike most other cryptocurrencies. Having five different businesses on the same platform provides the SherCoin with Utility.The coin will be used to pay transaction fees on these five different applications creating a constant demand for the coin.

SherCoin is an utility token based on the Ethereum platform (ERC20 token), which will bring cryptocurrencies to the masses by allowing users to earn, spend and exchange SherCoins easily.

SherCoin Global Wallet - THE PROTOTYPE IS READY!

Any application that uses SherCoin will have an integrated crypto wallet.  Users simply have to provide their name, email, and password to gain access to a digital wallet that can be used to buy/sell/hold SherCoin and other supported cryptocurrencies.

THE Verify App - THE ALPHA IS READY!

Users of THE Verify App will earn rewards in SherCoin for reporting suspicious products that are not verified in the App. We have already developed a prototype of this first use case.

We are currently using the ethereum blockchain and our smart-contracts are written using Solidity but we do not stick to ethereum. You can find more details about our prototype in this article.

We are currently studying (and testing) other blockchain solutions providing smart-contracts feature (AION, NEO, EOS, TRON etc.). So a migration is not impossible in the future.

The ICO will accept ETH, and maybe some other cryptos. We are currently still working on it and we will update you.

Yes, because lots of amazing blockchain platform with smart-contract feature are live now and more will go live before the end of the year. So based on technical informations we have (scalability, block time, governance, etc.), technical documentations actually provided to develop smart-contracts, their ecosystems, their specific features, etc. We will choose the solution which will fit our long term needs for the ecosystem.

Such migration is more easy to do in the beginning of a project, that's why we are exploring other solutions now. But we need to choose carefully because this choice will impact future developments of the project.

Having other crypto doesn't guarantee the success. There are ICO projects that accept 50+ coins, but it doesn't make them reach the goals.
ETH is commonly used and there's no problem to get some.

The marketplace concept is interesting, but it's hardly possible to start in short term. Or there will be only a few e-commerce shops available.

Yes, according to our roadmap, it will be live by 2021 in mean time we will develop our other use cases that will add many users to the ecosystem. We will also partner with existing e-commerce website to integrate with the marketplace. We will make sure we have a large number of products and services listed before going live.
