What exactly do you mean by paid? As in you need to pay a subscription fee to use them? That would be weird. No, i don't think these kind of wallets exists.

Or i simply haven't come across them yet. I certainly wouldn't use them when i can also use Electrum/Core.

If you're looking for hardware wallet, Ledger is offering a solution to get an encrypted key in an usb stick. It's not a wallet but a key to access several wallets but you can't use it with every wallet so maybe you are looking for something else.

I don't think there is.

If you'e looking for a cryptocurrency wallet, the characteristic you should be looking for is open source. Not a sort of "premium" one. What's important is that people can publicly view the code, so the coders can call out on the wallet if they're doing something fishy or if the security aspect of the wallet is bad.

Are you looking for a wallet that supports all those altcoins too, or just bitcoin?

Maybe Exodus or Jaxx.io? https://www.exodus.io/ / https://jaxx.io/ Although the latter had issues in the past, so be wary when using these two wallets..

For bitcoin wallets i'd use Electrum / Bitcoin Core.

Here's what I suggest you'd do. Purchase a hardware wallet(cold wallet) for majority of your funds, and download a mobile/desktop wallet(hot wallet) mainly for spending. Keep majority of your funds on the cold wallet, and just send some funds every few days or so over to your hot wallet so you have BTC for easy spending. This way, you minimize the risk of potentially losing your funds.

Hardware wallets: Ledger Nano S, Trezor | I suggest only purchasing them from their official websites
Software wallets: You said you use BTC daily so I suggest Electrum for desktop, Samourai for Android, and probably BRD for iOS.

Bitcoin and altcoins are based on decentralization that means everyone has the ability to control their own funds. It doesn't make any sense to pay for holding the funds. On the other hand, even in that case, such kind of service provider would be in the position to spend your funds and the commitment to you would be the only obligation for him not to spend it without your permission.

You're suggesting a hardware wallet to him without even knowing how much money he's holding. If you have $500 in cryptocurrency, spending $100 on a ledger doesn't really make sense. I think that your wallet shouldn't cost more than 10% of your coins to be worth it. There are pretty good software solutions for people who are not holding a lot.
I had a mobile version of electrum for many months and it's very fast, easy to use and secure. You may not agree but smartphone applications that include features like a QR scanner are much more user friendly than those little hardware wallets with micro displays, and they don't cost you anything.

I mean, shouldn't this be common sense for it to be mentioned? I assume OP can decide on his/her own if he/she would need buy a hardware wallet if he only had approximately $500 worth of crypto.

for my holding, I can't say it for various purpose.

Pretty sure I will be buying hardware wallet due to this reason.

1) Holding "quite" amount of crypto in a desktop wallet right now (no trading), but i do use them daily basic. around 100-200usd per day for buying in-game stuff, RL stuff or some cash.

As for now every time I wanted to use cryptocurrency, I would buy some amount of BTC from localbitcoins , and send it to my "holding wallet", and use a portion of "just brought BTC" send to a "ready-use" wallet.

I really do suggest buying a hardware wallet asap. Preferably, from the source itself and not some third party website(Amazon, etc). As if I were to store my funds on a certain device, a desktop is definitely not one of the choices. Especially if you're using a Windows device. Huge nope for me.
