Right, the thing with technology most of the time is that we just cannot expect it to just hit adoption level in a huge manner without some development taking place and some gradual approach to adopting it generally.

It is a new technology and it takes some time to get to see new technologies being quickly accepted and used in real life. Cryptocurrency will obviously live and develop as we can see that where we are now is totally incomparable to where we were years ago, which shows one thing, development is coming gradually and we will get to see more in the long run.

Just like what happens with the internet and with the computer as well before. They taught that it would just be a fad and would be lost after some time when people realize that they are just wasting their time with it but then look at what happened. We are benefitting from it because we can work fast through computers and almost all transactions need internet for us to transmit information as fast as possible.

Before, it would take days before one can read a letter and now, it would just take one click for one to send an e-mail. The same thing would happen with cryptocurrency when people would slowly adopt it.

I agree with your statement, however, cryptocurrency is too big to compare with debit cards or credit card. It may take a while before the mass or even the government to understand and adopt cryptocurrency as a whole. That must be the reason why cryptocurrency is not  yet supported by government because the risk is too high for people just to dive in.

I am inclined to agree that over time, cryptocurrencies can really become the usual way of payment for any product or service, but so far cryptocurrencies are at the bottom and if there is no hype around them, then this will remain and ultimately they will not be needed, since the same debit cards are still very simple and easy to use.
