iVendPay founder Sergey Danilov and bringing crypto ATMs to Asia

Smart vending machines capable of handling cryptocurrency payments will be installed throughout Malaysia and Israel by the end of 2018 as a result of a partnership between iVendpay and GoByte. Sergey Danilov, the founder of the iVendPay project, told CCN:

“The partnership between iVendpay and Gobyte is caused by the high demand for universal services allowing to pay for goods with cryptocurrency in everyday life. The choice in favor of GoByte was made due to the peculiarities of this cryptocurrency, designed for instant processing of micropayments with a small commission. Payment for purchases using GoByte in any vending machine equipped with iVendPay takes less than 3 seconds.”

He also provided a Youtube clip showing the ATM in action. GoByte is a fork from the Dash cryptocurrency aimed at processing merchant transactions. GoByte claims to be an improvement on the original Dash currency with a separate payment infrastructure that allows lower or non-existent fees for processing payments.

How much actually it will be used is what we need to wait and watch. This is a good step to make cryptos more accessible. We can expect more new traders/inverstors from these countries.

It is indeed a good initiative. Though there are some whispers full of doubt wether it will be able to be as successful as intended to, the possiblity of its success is not bad. Now all we can do is observe. Hopefully, the project will be successful.

Sounds good for Malaysian crypoto community, but Unocoin founder just got arrested in Incia as they were installing Crypto ATMs there, iVendPay should skip India for now.

I thought they were going to bring ATM to crypto-friendly countries like Japan and South Korea, but since those countries are already embracing cryptocurrency with no signs of stopping, I think it's a smart move to bring crypto ATM to countries where cryptocurrencies need more awareness (like Israel).

Also, about the crypto they're using, not that i'm complaining but the whole thing makes it look like it's part of a marketing campaign for GoByte, they could've added more cryptos as payment, but they chose one that I'm sure not people knew it existed. But hopefully, these vending machines will go mainstream throughout Asia.

A good initiative but UNOCoin has already tried and landed up to being arrested in India.It might worked well in other countries in asia but in India Crypto is not a legal tender but it's transaction is also not illegal so there is a tricky situation.Same might happen in  China also.
