Is it real to find promising ICO nowdays? On what ICO should I look now?

It's very(extremely) easy to find an ICO this days, they've actually being the menace of 2018 and somewhat plagued the system..

But what's difficult is finding a legit/real/veritable ICO project,most of them(90%) are basically scam projects looking do defraud investors of their money(investments) and others simply didn't have their work cut out before embarking on the project thus it turns out to be a waste of time and money(for investors)
I'll always advice one to invest in the bitcoin as its safer and more profitable,but if you lack the capital and want to go into ICO investments you'll do yourself a whole lot of good scrutinizing the project as well as its team properly

In a nutshell we're surrounded by ICO projects in this network,some have recorded phenomenal success and others catastrophic failures,and then there are the scammers, ICO projects are basically filled with uncertainty

Do you know what cryptocurrency is? Do you know how this technology works? Even in not very technical detailed description?
If you would know, you wouldn' t ever invest in "ICO".
My advice to you is none, invest in reality not dreams, bitcoin is real, bitcoin is great, bitcoin is here to stay.

Just because a project is shilled a lot here on the forum doesn't mean that it is good..?

You mean is it real hard to find? nowadays, yes.

DYOR (Do your own research). This is what most gonna tell you to do. With the vast growth ICOs, scammers are already riding this way of crowding funding and collection. And studies are saying that more than 90% of them now are scam so if you are up for ICO, its risky for you but if you insist then DYOR for each ICO that's catching your eye.

I think you are new to this forum and crypto world. A year ago, ICOs have given some good profits to investors. Now, scammers take this method to scam as like a boss. In these days hard to find good ICOs. Because the whole market has fallen, scammers take a part of ICO projects, most good promising ICO projects also cheating investors and many more reasons. But if you make a good own research, you can find some good ICOs. But you hard to participate those ICOs. Because they are taking a limited number of investors. Please don't invest your money without your own research.
