It was a light humor from one of the most innovative thinker of our time and nothing else. It's always good to hear anything about bitcoin or cryptos in general from the famous personalities. PayPal,fiat, bitcoin and altcoins. If anyone can do it,it's Elon Musk.

If Elon Musk tweeted about it, then there is definitely something cooler in it. But the tweet kinda seems like a joke, as he was mocking someone. But if he really meant that, then it's a great news for crypto.

Elon Musk might be tweeting for the sake of humor but if he is serious about investing in the crypto economy it would only mean good things for cryptocurrency. If he does get into cryptocurrency the market could be effected in a positive way due to his influence as a pioneer who now believes in crypto. But it remains to be seen as this is speculation.

With what I understand regarding your inquiry for regulations in MALTA it is in your best interest to do a little digging on your own. As you can't be sure of the accuracy of information regarding regulations from here when there are several platforms that do offer in-depth information related to regulations. Hopefully you'll find what you're looking for.

Elon is a humorous person. There is a high possibillity that it is just a joke. But if he really want to invest in bitcoin that will be a great news. Tesla and bitcoin contributing together would be a treat to watch.

Light humour indeed.
I think he subtly made it clear that he is absolutely in support of cryptocurrency, and bitcoin in particular.
He may already have large volumes in possession, and only gave information about it in a passive manner. For someone like Elon musk to support BitCoin wont be a surprise because the guy has demonstrated his adventurous character through his successful business venture.
I wish him success to his current troubles.

Yeah just a troll post. If you read the comments on most of his tweets the top replies are almost always bitcoin or crypto trolls. Oh send .1 Bitcoin to get 10 bitcoin etc.

Elon Musk the founder of SpaceX and Tesla made a tweet about buying bitcoin from his official verified twitter  account, and no his account was not hacked lmao, even twitter thought his account was hacked can't blame twitter though lol. It's pertinent to note that his tweet deserves to be taken seriously, remember Teslaquilla his April fool tweet will soon be a reality. I see a potential whale in him, but given his stressful conditions wonder he'll be good for bitcoins or he'll mess it up, cause this guy won't be in for one or two bitcoins he has the capacity to buy and sell major volumes.

Elon Musk is undoubtedly one of the brightest minds of this time. And yes, he is for sure stressed in all his days due to his current situation. But of course, if he decides to scoop up some BTC and become a player,  he is more than able to do so. I have no doubt that many of these high profiled tycoons are now secretly or discreetly participating in the crypto market for profit. I'll do the same if I was one of them!

Too late Elon. He took a pronounced anti-Bitcoin view until a few months back. To tell the truth, I don't really like this guy. He used unfair means to earn profits for his Space X venture. A tweet will not make him a saint in front of my eyes.

this was indeed an interesting incident that stirred up some drama in the social media but we shouldn't forget that it is not a correct thing to make investment decisions based on what other people are doing. for example you should never buy bitcoin because Elon Musk or anyone else talked about it or bought bitcoin. instead you should only buy bitcoin after you analyzed it yourself and saw the potential in it and only if you actually wanted to be involved in this unique decentralized currency.

I've come across another "Elon Musk's" tweet recently on my feed. That was a fake account with fake verified status which promoted bitcoin giveaway (around 1 billion btc was at stake). It was claimed that you have to send a certain amount of btc from your wallet so that your account can be verified for the giveaway. It looked rather compelling so be careful guys, don't rise to the bait of scammers.

This could be a use of satire. Either ways, even if its meant to be a joke, this was a form of publicity, which can be seen as a positive scene for Bitcoin.

Honestly it seems to be a publicity stunt. But whether it is for real or not, the tweet is helping to spread the word of bitcoin more.

This is just a mere publicity stunt, as a member of engineered field Must must encourage people to but and learn and onvest onto it. Even if it is a joke, which is emmines with the anime pic, it tis good that, billionaires are taking a look into it.

This is not anything serious I guess. He might be joking. But it's a good way to do some publicity.

It doesn't imply that he would buy BTC and it is just a joke.  A tweet from him shouldn't make us excited but, I think, he has some coins even if its quantity is not so important. This tweet is about the anime and he likes it. That's all.

Reading tweets of such smart people who have influence on economy is a good thing for the crypto community. Even though they don't show an interest on cryptocurrencies at its start, they can't stand the trend and somehow start to mention about cryptocurrencies in public.
