Elon Musk is not learning from his previous mistakes. Last time he tweeted about stocks and Tesla, the people accused him of insider trading or something similar Huh

Now, people will say he bought bitcoins and he is trying to hype the price up to sell at a profit. He has many followers and a tweet like this can be misconstrued as market manipulation.  Roll Eyes

The guy has a lot of money and a lot of power to influence people, he should use it responsibly.  Wink

The main Elon Musk Tesla stock tweet was that he had funding secured to take Tesla private. It seems to be that no such plan was fully secure so the SEC fined him personally and the company.

Recently Musk has been tweeting a lot about anime and Catgirls. Perhaps we should go all in an animecoin or catgirl token.  Grin Grin Grin

Reading tweets of such smart people who have influence on economy is a good thing for the crypto community.

It's actually doing more harm than good. People adding value to tweets just tells me that we have a very long way to go in order to finally get rid of Bitcoin's niche aspect.

His words are meaningless in the grand scheme of things, just like how the negative words of influential anti Bitcoiners are meaningless in the grand scheme of things. It's always those who don't contribute to anything being the loudest, while the people who are busy building up Bitcoin's foundation do it silently, which is how it should be because they let their actions speak for them.

Elon Musk the founder of SpaceX and Tesla made a tweet about buying bitcoin from his official verified twitter  account, and no his account was not hacked lmao, even twitter thought his account was hacked can't blame twitter though lol. It's pertinent to note that his tweet deserves to be taken seriously, remember Teslaquilla his April fool tweet will soon be a reality. I see a potential whale in him, but given his stressful conditions wonder he'll be good for bitcoins or he'll mess it up, cause this guy won't be in for one or two bitcoins he has the capacity to buy and sell major volumes.

Read the tweet here https://www.coindesk.com/elon-musk-teases-bitcoin-service-in-cryptic-crypto-tweet/

I guess it wasn't very serious. Already in the market did not react to such a development. Still, we know that Musk is interested in crypto coins.

the market didn't react because the trend is not in the same direction as that tweet. the same thing is true when some FUD comes out. whenever there is some kind of news like this that is about to change the price, it can only do so if it is in the same direction as the market trend.
for instance if a good news comes out during a rise, it will contribute to the rise and make it bigger and if it comes out during a drop it will be either ineffective or slows it down.
right now we are in a stable phase which means any news is ineffective unless it is ridiculously huge!

Even Elon Musk supports bitcoin. I trust him a lot. He has a right to give advice as he is very successful, smart, and rich man. Maybe his Twitter posts will finally enliven the dead crypto market. All the tools will be helpful.

It is always nice to have important personalities take interest in the cryptocurrency and acknowledge them. It gets people thinking and they can influence the use of cryptocurrency. Imagine if bitcoin is accepted as a means of payment for Tesla.

All these big shots are the holding cryptocurrencies from long time and many times these people just create a fud and panic in the market so that they can buy more crypto.

Well, I think the public opinion of him isn't that great at the moment. So it's cool to see him promote BTC but I'm not too sure how the public has received this promotion.

The market is changing. If you look carefully, a swing in the price of bitcoin don't necessarily mean all other coins will follow. So, how many BTC will he buy that will cause a stir in the market?  It is exciting though to see such persons develop interest in BTC and cryptocurrency. It is the way money is going to. But I rather will be more excited to see mass adoption of bitcoin than want to celebrate a whale.

Read the tweet here https://www.coindesk.com/elon-musk-teases-bitcoin-service-in-cryptic-crypto-tweet/

After his tweet tech firm suspected that his account has been compromised and Twitter blocked his account. The Tesla & SpaceX founder recently tweeted a girl wearing Bitcoin-themed cloth (enime character) with the text "wanna buy some Bitcoin"? However, Tweeter declined to comment on this matter and the account was locked down rather than blocked.

Twitter has always been exciting and fascinating. If bitcoin would gain the necessary recognition, then it is very crucial for all influential crypto enthusiasts to spread the amazing story behind bitcoin through social media platforms such as bitcoin. But I believe we should not be allowed for people with greater reputation to cause panic or FUD that would scare investors.

I don't know if "swooned" would be the right word. I think he tweeted that more of as a joke and obviously not in a serious way. But whatever. Joke or not, publicity is publicity.

Anyway, for those who don't want to view the article, here's a screenshot of the Tweet (https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1054520588734058496)

I see it thanks! Maybe, it is just a persuasive tweet for those who does not believe in bitcoin. Due to the current situation of bitcoin as well as cryptocurrency, many people are still in contemplation whenever they will gonna buy their shares to the market. Well, it is a good sign that there are some people who still believe in bitcoin and promote it to the world.

Elon already accepts BTC if you want to buy a new Tesla with crypto. I can imagine one day people paying for a ride into space with BTC.
