Hello,

Everyday, I receive tons of mails with the famous messages saying "they" know my password, "they" installed a Windows RAT on my Linux desktop, "they" recorded me while I was watching porn despite my parental filter that prevent everyone in the house to access to adult material   Grin

So I decided to record every address here: https://www.seekoin.com/address.php

Feel free to use it or even to populate it with your own records.

Your email address is probably bought or leaked from somewhere then. Either way, I don't think listing them will do any help as they are most likely uniquely generated for each email they send otherwise it would be easy to trace.

Yeah it's common sense to never actually send BTC to a random entity that approaches you (email, discord, telegram) but some innocent people do fall ill to these methods. Nice work man, bit by bit we can make the space better through awareness.

Also you can find alot of scamming addresses on etherscan just look to the comments of each account, there is a bunch.

Common sense is the key.

Im just wondering if there's anybody who will really fall for such trap.

Your email address is probably bought or leaked from somewhere then.

That's the problem nowadays even with the legit service where you signed up your email.

This is a cool idea, an addys blacklist is a must for this crazy environment. I take a look at your site and don't understand why the addys list doesn't have an order. i mean, when we see the addys list and click on the '>>>' button, it sends us to:

https://www.seekoin.com/address.php?f=1539425957

Then we click it again and send us to:

https://www.seekoin.com/address.php?f=1538898563

I think would be better if you can give the right order to those pages, that way would be easy for anyone to make a script and with curl dump all the addys from your site

You need to add a search box option. If you continue to add new scammer addresses it will be much more. Also, any screenshot because of which some address has come to it, it is desirable.

I got one last week "I know your little secret...". What intrigued me was the title which was "Your password is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx right?"
The password mentioned was an old password of my Bitcointalk account back when I joined. Seems someone trying his luck spamming emails coming from here. Me too, I found his little secret" since.
Will add the Address as soon I find the email

Why should you be ashamed of your porn surfing? These idiots are mass mailing people like long line fishing and hoping that they might catch someone that are gullible to fall for this. Just unplug your webcam or cover your built-in camera when you are masturbating and you will be fine.  Grin Grin Grin Grin

I receive these emails weekly and I just ignore them, because I do not use a webcam and I do not surf porn. <I have a partner and we have a healthy sex life>  Wink

Actually, there is an order: the listing is sorted on the date; but I plan to improve it by using other filters like address, type and so on. Allow me few hours to update it.

You need to add a search box option. If you continue to add new scammer addresses it will be much more. Also, any screenshot because of which some address has come to it, it is desirable.

There is a search box in the home page: simply enter the address in the form and press the button.

Your email address is probably bought or leaked from somewhere then. Either way, I don't think listing them will do any help as they are most likely uniquely generated for each email they send otherwise it would be easy to trace.

Yeah the addresses are not the sort of information that needs to be listed IMO, but the website also includes the e-mails that accompanied those addresses, which is useful.
I'd implement better formatting for those e-mails, it's just difficult to read that way.

Can other people also submit entries? If not, I don't think this will have much impact tbh.

Generating new addresses is not a problem, maybe people who send these messages use different addresses for each message they send. Such a list can not help someone not be deceived, but can only serve as an example how some are trying to deceive others. Although some think it is not easy to get into such a trap, I still think there are those who believe in such things and pay the requested amount.

We have case of a women who pay over 10 000$ in BTC as tax payment to some scammers, and also identical case in Australia recently. I think it is much easier to scam people via e-mail, especially those who have some incriminating secrets.

The real problem is that the people who are going to be affected by those types of scams, aren't usually the people who will look up information like that.
To really solve the problem of scams like that, is to immediately report them, so they don't get past spam filters in the first place.

Don't get me wrong, it's also a great idea to document and publish this sort of information, but it's an approach that will not solve the actual problem.

Hello,

Thanks to everyone for the feedbacks and advices, this will help to improve the directory. My 2 comments:
- I don't think adding the source email address is useful and worst most of the time the address is your own and private address. I prefer not to disclose it
- I can see some transactions on most of the reported addresses  Shocked Simply input this one in the search box of the homepage and the program will display some links to the Blockchain.

Like I said before, most will not fall into such cheap tricks - but there is always a small percentage of people that is very easy to cheat. As for the addresses, I just check first from your list and this address has balance 0.14 BTC from two transaction, but it is interesting it is reported as bitcoin addresses used by the wannacry ransomware.

Actually this site is doing same thing as you try to do, but with option for people to add their own report and with direct link for each address to blockchain explorer.

They are really not dumb enough to post or give out single address on such blackmailing activities.I have received some emails like this but those are in my dummy emails not on my main ones.
Dummy emails I do commonly use when registering on a new site or service because I don't trust up everytime I put up my email address so I do make dummy ones so that you wont bother yourself
no matter what emails you would able to read about blah blah blah and also I love porn and no one can stop it.  Grin
