Bounty hunting advice for a newbie

I have spent the better part of this past few weeks reading up on cryptocurrency projects and all. While I have been writing articles for my friends who send me whitepapers, I am yet to understand bounty hunting.

Those of you who are established, could you write advices for upcoming bounty hunters? I would even appreciate private messages. I want to learn, I need help and I guess there are others like me who would benefit alot.

Start by exploring the projects that seems promising to you, then ask you if the project seems feasable and if the team as the capability to deliver. Then maybe subscribe to their bounty.

Do your research about bounty hunting, if you'll go to the Altcoin section you will see on how many bounty hunters are complaining that its no longer working for them.

Since you are into article writing, why not start your own freelancing service as a writer for some bloggers and publishing websites? though you can still use it for bounty hunting but finding a legit one today is hard, you are likely to waste your effort if you ended up to an unsuccessful bounty.

There are different campaigns in bounty hunting,there is the signature campaign,content campaign,social media campaign etc..

But the most profitable happens to be the signature/content,but as those who commented previously had stated most campaigns are scam projects,so you must be doing your homework carefully before joining any one of them to avoid a total waste of time..

Signature campaign has to do with you putting on a particular signature for a project and advertise through making posts(quality posts) here in the forum
While content has to do with writing quality stuffs about the project at hand

Understanding bounties is all about paying attention and reading the rules and details of participation.
If you have found a bounty you want to join, you would have to follow links to the bounty thread and follow the rules of specific campaigns you qualify for.
The teal dynamics of bounty hunting, like identifying good campaigns and when to sell bounty earned tokens is a broad topic and can only be learned through experience or direct coaching.

I think if you want to be a skilled hunter, then we must first learn how to use patience, because we should carefully read all the white papers and project introductions when choosing a bounty event, which requires us to spend a lot of time!

But my advice is DYOR before participating in any campaigns. Most of the ICOs are loving bounties. The real problem is most of the ICOs are scams these days. So you need to consider several factors before joining a bounty campaign. Unfortunately, participation in the bounty is a lottery, and from my experience I can say that, for example, if you make 100 bounties for half a year, the real projects that will collect the necessary funds, pay the bounty participants and will produce a listing of tokens for exchangers.... approximately 5-10 out of 100. Be psychologically prepared for this.

Most importantly, success in bounty hunting is not on the number of projects you participated but in rather in how sincere the bounty and the bounty manager is and to cap it all over 50% of icos are known to be scam, they usually scam not just the investors but bounty hunters too.

50%? Depending on what you think is "Scam", I think 95% published on the forum or Scam or unrealized projects or projects that will never show the finished product.

I had another question. How many bounty campaigns  do you participate at one time? My limit was about 15 on FB and Twitter and it took about 1,5 hour a day. Still waiting for first valued results of 4 month of work

A years ago bounties have given decent profit to participants. Now bounties have changed. Because there are too many scam projects, cheating and not paying allocated amounts. Another important thing is a number of participants. There are too many guys here for bounties. The allocation is not enough for all the participants. Then you have to look out all the thing about before participating bounty campaigns.

How many bounty campaigns  do you participate at one time?

Some bounty managers are limit weekly social media posts. But most bounties have no limit to participate.

There was always a high number of scam projects, but during the pump of 2017, the market was so profitable that even poorly developed projects (scams) could give massive ROI (return on investments) and give the developers an easy exit route as early investors smiled to the bank.

The heightened bearish market exposes this scams, some of which are all to obvious.
And this has reduced investors interest in ICOs (this can be seen from drop in average amounts raised)
And this has a detrimental effect on bounties.

I'd recommend you to watch in team history if they have a previous project . If they had and it was succesful I think that you should go in . Otherwise you shouldn't
