I read a number of articles and even read several forums discussing what bitcoin is.

I made this post because many of my friends don't understand what bitcoin really is, and I made this thread to be my Boomark to be read by my friends.

Discussions about Bitcoin are very much discussed on each site if we look for it on "google.com".
But each site certainly has a different view of each site visited, such as:

• On the wikipedia site I read that bitcoin was discovered in 2009 they said that Cryptocurrency was a form of electronic money and bitcoin was made by a group of people whose identities were unknown.
• While the blockgeeks site said that bitcoin was discovered in 2008 they said Occupy Wall Street accused large banks of abusing borrower's money.
• While on the weusecoin site said that Bitcoin was published in 2009 and Satoshi Nakamoto made a statement that he had left the project in 2010, but now Bitcoin has mushroomed in all countries.

In this forum, many have different views about what is bitcoin?

The Central Bank of Israel considers bitcoin an asset, not a currency. The Deputy Governor of the Bank of Israel Nadine Baudot-Trajtenberg (Nadine Baudot-Trajtenberg), speaking at a meeting of the Finance Committee of the Knesset, said that in the opinion of the Central Bank of Israel, crypto-currencies, including bitcoin are the currency and asset.

I have a question ladies and gentlemen why they think so?

Of the few quotes I read, many were different and had their own views.
However, it is necessary to do your own research according to the criteria of each, so that there is not much wrong in making the meaning of Bitcoin.
Hopefully this will be a reading discourse for my friends.

There is just the one view because it's well known, that's the third one you posted. It was made by Satoshi Nakamoto and he split a few years later. He has posted once since then only saying he is not Dorian Nakamoto but he didn't provide a signed message so some don't believe it was truly him. His email was compromised since he stopped using it but that has changed nothing.

Quoting from a number of sources that I took, there were people who made quotes that did not match the results of their research from the original, I found some findings, including the inventor of the "Year" of Bitcoin, and the debate about "assets", they assumed that bitcoin was an asset , and some say "not assets".
This is where we recognize the beginning of the emergence of Bitcoin, so my friends don't misinterpret.

First of all we need to review bitcoin, many also misunderstand what bitcoin is, actually bitcoin is an asset, of course it is very high and allows everything that has been running so far, but many do not understand the use of bitcoin.
My friends think that bitcoin is not a productive job but my friends say it's not true, but the fact that bitcoin is an advantage that can meet daily needs.

Most of the people hate bitcoin till now and they criticise it because of its volatile nature as people are happy when the valuation of bitcoin is high but the bitcoin is of volatile nature so it’s va keep on flactuation with market demand and supply so when it deflates people started calling it a scam or a bubble that would burst soon but people should keep in mind that bitcoin a decade ago was completely unknown but after facing so many obstacles and hurdles in life bitcoin is now on the top of crypto ranking and now is the most sustainable investment.

i don't see any different views here! they are  discussing different subjects mostly. for example Wikipedia has almost everything about bitcoin while the other links only include a short summary to the article they wrote going.
and "what bitcoin is" has nothing to do with what year it was started and who created it and why.

A story that has twists and turns and this certainly makes many people think differently, the pros and cons are always there. Even today there are still many who cannot accept bitcoin, but that doesn't make the development of bitcoin shrink. Precisely the development of bitcoin is expanding even though Satoshi left it.

I remember the story of bitcoin is not so popular before but now its now welknown because of the price so expensive in 2019.Bitcoin came from nothing and now its the big issue now of the low price at market.

In my opinion the Central Bank of Israel is right and bitcoin is an asset, not a currency. Today the transaction fees is too high and the time of transactions is too big to say about bitcoin as a currency. Volatility of bitcoin price is also not good for currency purposes. Maybe in the future the everything will change. We will see.

Bitcoin does provide added value in the financial future, this will make bitcoin able to grow especially this bitcoin without the third person in managing it so that holders can freely dispose of or save it. Different people, organization and countries have different perception about bitcoin. From my studies and understanding bitcoin is an asset and also a currency. According to dictionary an asset is a useful and valuable thing that can be use to meet debt or commitment while currency is a system of money generally use in a country. From this definition bitcoin fit into the two categories accurately.

In my opinion only wikipedia has full information including the history of formation, the operation, and other sites only the definition of bitcoin

There are loads of books and websites with resources on the origin of Bitcoin, but Satoshi Nakamoto's own writings tells the true story. You can find a lot of information here, https://satoshi.nakamotoinstitute.org/ 

This includes links to his emails and forum posts and also his PGP-key and most important of all, the original Bitcoin whitepaper. I would rather go to the resources that Satoshi wrote and not some information that was randomly posted by the general public.

I included having a very encouraging story when bitcoin was at the end of 2017, along with giving bounty prizes from Minexcoin.
I am very happy because I got a very good price. and it hasn't been repeated until now, when is there a good story again?

Whatever it is clearly that bitcoin is a mix of an asset and a currency. Why? Because bitcoin has already establish as a means of exchange like the fiat currency did though only few are doing this and it has not been created a demand lately that is why market price is cheaper compared to the last few months of its existence. Hopefully they can see bitcoin like a stock market exchange where it will be legalized and will undergone regulations to avoid any control of the market.

Ofcourse yes, people need only the information of Bitcoin like how it works and what are the advantages of using it also how it made people to believe in this as well as it surpassed the difficulties, no need to create a topic like the founder and all. A lot of articles has come regarding this. Worth information will always benefit to everyone.

It is hard to believe that this technology was almost 10 years ago, and only 2-3 years ago it became so popular. I think this is only the beginning of the journey for Bitcoin. And Bitcoin’s future is the most optimistic

Everything posted by the OP is actually correct.
The bitcoin whitepaper was released on the 31st of October 2008 and
the first block was mined "the Genesis block" on January the 3rd 2009.
The fact that Wikipedia mentions a group of people is speculation
because as has been thrashed out on this forum and im sure elsewhere
the identity of Satoshi is unknown, it could be either a man, woman, both
or a multiple of people.

Bitcoin is being used in different ways and it us looked upon as diferent
things to different people and governments around the world.

The issue should not be what bitcoin is but people should appreciate the philosophy of bitcoin and in so doing, people can appreciate  the beauty of bitcoin and not  just the talk about  the statistics and all that on bitcoin.

bitcoin to many people means different things.  To me, it is a safe haven for value preservation and capital enhancement for the long term benefits.
