Introduction

We are 2 friends and both very passionate about gambling and poker. We decide we are going to launch our very own online poker platform. Maybe nothing special about that but we are aiming to become the first crypto poker platform build for those with a tiny bankroll or even for people that do not have funds to put in poker.

Everything looked super cool but at this moment the price dropped to below 1 cent and hardly has any traffic on their platform. Even with launch of short deck poker and mobile apps there hasn't changed anything on player traffic and token value.

How are we different like this projects?

- Firstly we do not launch an ICO
The crypto and poker community aren't waiting for another poker token that will fail in time. Crypto and poker community just want a crypto pokerroom where they can have fun and just can play by using their BTC, ETH or other well established coins.

- We do not raise millions of $ to develop our project. We are a small project that until now has been developed with own funds and some donations from friends. And we will keep working in this way for the following weeks and months.

- We listen to our friends and supporters. We will open an option for people to join as early bird testers with very nice conditions. This group (max 100 people) will have the opportunity to interact with us and decide with us what to add, to exclude and how to improve our platform. This group will also be the test group to test our platform before it actually goes live.

The HODLpoker platform

We can't show any screenshots at this moment. At this very moment we are working on coding the entire platform. We will have visuals of our platform as soon as everything gets migrated. So at this very moment we can only tell you how our platform will work.


Platform

We will start with our web version but we will start working on mobile versions asap. We will have a downloadable version or can be played in browser.

Accounts

New players will be able to signup on our platform just by using their email, phone number and password. No further personal details are necessary to join our platform.

Games

Primary we are going to start to offer the 2 most popular games No limit holdem and Pot limit Omaha.
This 2 variants will be available in cash games, sit&gos and tournaments.
We will offer different speeds of game play. from slow over regular to turbo and hyper turbo.

During upcoming months after our launch we will have polls with our community on what games to add. Some games that are in the pipeline anyway are KO and Progressive KO tournaments, live event qualifiers, spin&go SNGs,...

Rake and rake back

Our tournaments fees will include a rake of 5-10% and our cash games will have a rake of +-4% per hand and will be capped depending on the table blinds. Exact rake plan will be announced and primary be discussed with our group of testers.

We will offer a general 30% rakeback plan for every player. We do not want to benefit highrollers so we decided to give a general 30% rake back to every active player. We do not pay our rake back in points but every week your account balance will be credited with your weekly rakeback. Afterwards you can use your weekly reward to play more games or withdraw to your wallet.

platform currency

Our platform will work on credits. 1 credit has a fixed value of 1 uBTC (0.000001BTC) We decided to work with uBTC as base value for our internal credit because we want to attract players of every level and not only those that have more to spend on gambling/poker. Compared to pokerstars they offer games starting as less as 0.02$ for a game. By working with uBTC as basis we also can offer games of 0.02 credit (2satoshi). If we would work with mBTC than we would have to organize games with a buy-in of 0.0000...1 credit which isn't that convenient.

Deposits and withdrawals

As mentioned a couple times we want to offer a nice platform for those that don't have that much or even nothing to spend. So different like other platforms we do not have a minimum deposit of 10$ or more. We want to give people the opportunity to even deposit 1$ or 0.5$.
Cause even with a 0.5$ deposit you will have plenty of games you can choose from.

Faucets

Faucets will be another advantage for players that do not have any bankroll to spend. Every player will be able to claim a faucet 20-24 times per day. Every faucet will have a value between 25 and 100 satoshi. So in this way even players without a bankroll can play on our platform and try to make some money.
Especially for faucet players there will be a wide range of available games including cash games, SNGs and tournaments with micro buyins. Beside that we will also offer special satellite tournaments for faucet players to qualify for bigger buy-in tournaments.

Afilliate program

Nowadays a platform can grow strong by a huge supporting community. You can spend thousands on marketing but mouth to mouth is the most powerful marketing tool at this moment. That is why we are going to introduce our affiliate program. As an affiliate you will earn 10% commission on the weekly rake of your referrals.
so if one of your referrals produces 100$ rake this week you as affiliate you will receive 10$ rake.

Chatbox

We want to become a social platform. So an interactive chatbox will be included. So beside chatting at the tables our community will have the opportunity to chat with every online player. Our chatbox will have all basic functions but also a P2P transfer or tipping system will be included. Players will be able to transfer credits to any possible player internally. And once in a while we will randomly distribute platform earnings to our players. This will also run through our chatbox.

We Will give testers bonuses. As Said we do not rely on donations. We are going to compose a test group Any way. All testers that are approved Will receive a bonus. We are looking at several different ways to give them bonuses. But we are thinking about a no deposit bonus or special tester freerolls.

We are not entirely sure yet. the only reason why we would use it to avoid faucet abuse and people signing up multiple accounts as referrals of their main account and abuse affiliate commissions.
But as said. We are in stage of development. So we have space to change or improve several things.
