Using wind power to create electricity dates back to the beginning of the 20th century. But if it weren't for Oil Shocks in the 70s', wind energy might have never shifted from a solution that only powered remote locations to a full-scale utility application. Read our second FUERGY blog about the wind energy.

Three-bladed with the horizontal axis is the most common type of wind turbine as well as a symbol of renewable energy. An on-shore wind turbine converts between a third to a half of kinetic wind power to electric energy while floating turbine can do even better. Learn more about modern wind turbines on the FUERGY blog.
