I invested in one of the altcoins and platforms of the coin that I invested should have been launched in the middle of this month, but in reality the platform has not been launched until now and price of the coin dropped because investors were disappointed with the project, because the project not in accordance with the roadmap and my question now is whether the project is a scam? and if it turns out that the project is not a scam then the project platform is launched, can price of the coin increase again and will investors trust the project again? I am afraid the price will never rise again even though the platform has been launched because investors have been disappointed with the project.

If a project has promised you something in terms of a product which isn't what was initially promised it is either a scam or they couldn't keep their promise in creating what they had initially promised. Now, this would obviously disappoint investors and if they do want to profit for something they should've done proper research and saw other feedback before becoming invested as this is a common ordeal that projects fail or not meet standards while some succeed. There are a lot of factors that play a part in the success of a project.

Even if it is not a scam, the developers team surely is inexperienced and not good at their job. I don't know if the price can rise ever again but most of the ICOs are failing due to this reason. They are not getting their price high and abandoning the project eventually.

Of course you will get disappointed knowing that promises are delayed or broken. But you should also consider the roadmap of every project and their platform will take more time to be launched or advertised in the media. Just wait, who know the coin you are holding will give you a bright future.

When they are changing the roadmap and it has the same meaning if the project has break the agreement with the investors and it can be considered as a scam. It will be so difficult to increase until the developer will try to replace it with a good product. Remember so many projects have been doing this shitty act and i guess you must learn more about the past project just like iconomi

If the project is not a scam and the devs simple are a little bit late with the release of their project, the price will bounce back. But as a good project, the team must follow their roadmap and make everything at time. I hope this project will raise again and you won't lose your money.

I can't judge the project is a scam or not before getting information about their reasons, what are their reasons for delaying the platform launch?, are they provide the prototype or other evidence to prove the result of their work?
I think the price can increase again if they really develop the product because it's only a matter of time for the platform launch and after the product is launched, they have the opportunity to get investors or users

If the project fails to meet expectations and commitments. So this project basically lost the foundation of trust. Or sell it earlier to reduce the loss.

if this is really a promising project, then you should not worry because the price will rise, but if it is not so then things are of course bad

The investors and traders have lost confidence in that project because a lot of things went wrong with the project  which included not following the roadmap , suspending the project without cogent reason and failure of the team to do proper sensitization for the project. These are signs of a failed project, The price is down now below the ico price who will bring the price up ?  Is not the traders whose confidence and moral is now very low. my opinion is that the project is gone because the owners are not even interested in continuing with it.

Maybe you should be patient to wait for the platform to be launched, investor disappointment will certainly affect the project. I did not say the project was a scam or not. You should know more about the project. If the project is successfully launched and successful, I don't think it is impossible if the price will increase later. Hopefully it is appropriate that you expect and plan.

if the developer is still active and still provides information about the progress of the project, I am sure the project is not a scam because there are some cases for projects to change the project launch date, for example there is a bug from the platform they have, so it cannot be launched on time because they have to fix it first even though it is their responsibility to repair or complete everything according to the date promised, but even though sometimes developer need more time to make the platform they launch perfect and not make investors disappointed in the future, so for now you don't need to worry about prices going down because when the platform is launched and then the platform they launched was perfect without any bugs or problems, i'm sure the price will increase again.

Most of them are yes, scams. Even if they provide reasons for failing to reach the set goal, they are totally dishonest to their work and to the investors.
I've tried my best to avoid such projects but even the most promising one's turns out to be a utter useless. They just keep posting some status on twitter marking themselves active but do nothing to make the project happen.

Once an ICO or a platform disappoints their investors by not fulfilling their promise, that project will surely turn in to a scam where team members no longer have an interest to develop the project. The price will be dumped and will just disappear in the market like a bubble. You should stop believing to that project and stop wasting your time with them, you are only minimizing your chance to multiply your funds that could be invested to a trusted and with potential projects.

Most of them are yes, scams. Even if they provide reasons for failing to reach the set goal, they are totally dishonest to their work and to the investors.

Any variation from promise is a good ground for an investor to check it out as a scam. Is annoying when you see many shit tokens in your wallet, you can't sell some because they worth nothing. The thing to do is to avoid them totally.

If you truly believe that the ICO you joined will be revolutionary in the future and the project team will continue with their development, then hodl rather than sell at a loss.

there are a lot of reasons why the price declined, disappointment is one of them of course but do not forget the fact that we are in extreme bear right now.
everything is on decline right now because peoples are afraid and expecting Bitcoin to get another down run in the future,
but believe it, it won't last forever and someday the trend will change.
if the trend changes and that project keeps giving you a new product or development, the price will increase absolutely. of course, another thing that you need to consider is capitulation.
almost every project got capitulated this season, they did that to push the price down and accumulate it for bigger profit in the future.

so as long as it keeps moving up and delivering everything that they promised for to you, why do not you keep it ?
