I’ve found some accounts whose post history has only posts that bump the 777coin games and rounds thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2439198
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2124352
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2124347
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1776797
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1776824
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1761996
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1775966
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1775955
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1761963

They are quite likely alts but AFAIK they are not breaking any rules. What I don’t understand is why if you have many alts to get more money from the free giveaway you don’t bump the thread every day. They have posting gaps and they all post the same days.

I don’t know whether to tell the 777coin people but there is nothing in the rules of the giveaway saying that you can’t have alts claiming it.

Anyway, it doesn't look good to me.

Issues like this presents a situation where people try to cleverly interprete the rules to suit their agenda, but most of those bumps dated months back are still left up and the rules states that;

21. Old bumps should be deleted. [2]

I don't know which specific action can be taken against those users. It's mostly down to the moderators discretion whether or not to act. Such give away threads should be discouraged.

Why are those accounts even posting there?

I am giving away 0.01 mBTC To all member's account that signs up and posts their account username. Once you receive your coins try out your luck and maybe you'll win big! Do note there are no restrictions what so ever! So you may withdraw at anytime you wish, and as always check out the referral program on our site. If your referral wins the jackpot, you win a partial amount of it! You get a part of the house edge, so you can watch and EARN! Quick way to make some coins.

The giveaway is only for Member+? Or am i missing something?

Anyway, that 777 ANN thread with above giveaway really is just another way to pay for people to bump your thread right? Why is this even allowed? I thought bumping services were forbidden? /(Paying people to bump your posts.)

Yet here this thread has been essentially doing that for years.

Hi mate, with all due respect, you haven't understood anything. Those are not old bumps.

I don't know why but those kind of threads are allowed, as long as they are paid in bitcoin.

I'm not sure about this. I think that with "member" he means the literal meaning of the word (users who are part of the forum) and not the rank "Member".

Otherwise, there wouldn't be so many Newbie/Jr. Members posting there every day for more than a month (they are probably receiving their free 0.01 mBTC every day).

I interpreted that rule to mean when repeatedly bumping a thread, (which you can do every 24hours) you should delete old bumps after posting new ones.
I don't know what you mean by 'not old bumps'
Looks like continuous bumping to me.
I could be wrong of course.

I might be wrong as well, I've seen the marketplace thread and the definition you give seems the right one. In which case, I've broken the rules every day because I also bump the thread but don't delete my old bumps.

Let's hope a moderator can enlighten us.

Before merit, this was usual practice to rank up accounts, usually in yabtcl lottery giveaway thread. Today is pointless to farm accounts like this. The thing is, in 777coin giveaway users can claim reward, accumulate them and withdraw it without wagering first and I am pretty sure lots users are abusing this.

For better visibility:
Quote
They have posting gaps and they all post the same days.
The same day at the same time in the same thread and all accounts have been active last time on October 28., between 07:33:20 PM and 07:37:02 PM
It is obvious they are alt accounts  Roll Eyes

There’s a lot of old accounts here that the rules sadly don’t seem to apply to.
Sure, relax the rules a bit for well meaning legendaries and hero’s and the other higher ranks, but when you allow companies to break forum rules like making multiple Ann threads on the forum or pay for bumping, maybe something should be done. 777 coin at least didn’t do what freebitco.in do which is to make multiple threads for “different things” and go unnoticed by it somehow. I have worked with sad wuite a bit and know it has a merge function so I don’t understand why a mod doesn’t tackle it and merge the two into one.

I think it was member+ that could get the bonus, 777coin and lightlord seem quite honest people though and he did donate to the forum.

As far as I understand Games and Rounds board is exempt from that rule as long as it is paid in Bitcoin and not any altcoins or tokens.

The reason freebitco.in has two threads is that it is a multipurpose service. The faucet is on Microearnings board and dice on Gambling board. I think the one thread per service rule is a local rule on each board so it didn't break those rules when they were later brought in.

I finally got the answer, those are not bumps, so they are legit:

Bumps are usually just for your own thread and they're mostly only concerned with marketplace threads. As long as those posts claiming the giveaway follow the rules of that giveaway then I don't see anything wrong with that.

Ah, if the problem is solved, this thread can be locked right?

That’s quite a clear response too, nice find!
