We currently have a veriety of different payment methods, like : Credit Cards / Debit Cards / PayPal / Payment processors / Charge cards / Prepaid cards / Phone and mobile payments / Money orders / Online Banking ePayments (OBeP) / Cheque and Crypto currencies. looking at the wide selection of options on the table, would you be able to motivate people to adopt Bitcoin, over any of the other options? What sets Bitcoin apart from these other options and how would you differentiate between these payment methods and Bitcoin? What makes Bitcoin better? if pay using debit or credit card you will be charged an additional fee while if using Bitcoin is not
other than that the Bitcoin transaction is anonymous but still transparent maybe some of these factors have made someone want to adopt Bitcoin as a payment option

Bitcoin is unique payment method. Some websites, like chanel, gucci, sephora, ulta and others have restrictions when your shipping adress and paypal's billing adress doesn't match, you aren't able to order things on someone. Bitcoin has no limits, from nowhere. Also imagine you want to buy something where it's better to protect your privacy, bitcoin is a solution here. It's very practical, has low fees which can't affect your budget, you own your own wallet and money, that's amazing when you don't depend on 3rd parties. |

I was able to motivate to use Bitcoin for transfer, versus Paypal it was a better option for them. but other was just interested in speculation. Bitcoin is apart because it is not controllable, and this makes bitcoin better for the folks. |

Perhaps few of the things that i personally believe makes bitcoin better that other mode of payments is its transparency from the moment it is transferred. There will be no wondering at all if the payment is made, with the given transaction reference, one can immediately check whether the payment was processed and if it is, one simply needs to wait for the transsction to be confirmed. And we all know that this status can not be manipulated at all. It adds a sense of security and peace of mind.

Bitcoin payments are safer and more efficient. Payments are a one-way only transaction, so you can’t lose money due to stolen credit cards. There are zero chargebacks as well. With bitcoin, the fees you pay determine the speed at which you receive your money. (And we all know how credit card fees and even Paypal fees add up)

From the word payment option, you already got the idea from it. Satoshi Nakamoto or bitcoin's creator has already his vision put in placed in his whitepaper that bitcoin should serve as the alternative currency to fiat to be used as payment for online transaction fees for products and services.

Actually bitcoin is only an intermediary tool (exchange), it is not a legitimate means of payment in a state institution. Because of coverage of the community, it cannot be like bank (credit card / debit card / master card) as well. |

I think people want to compare between bitcoin and the traditional payment and I think they want to try to use bitcoin as another payment option because they know that bitcoin doesn't have an additional fee of the transaction. When they use bitcoin for the payment, they only need to pay transaction fee which can fluctuate depends on the amount they've spent. Besides that, they can use bitcoin for any limitations and bitcoin itself can cross any border, so it does not depend on how far of the recipient.

people would want to adopt bitcoin as a means of payment because it is by far faster than all other means currently available especially long distance transactions with no fees attached. all you need do is pay transaction fee which is usually small. so bitcoin serves a better purpose than the traditional means of payment we are used to

Well i would want to be very candid here because this topic has been on the heart of so many because of the unfair situations that are happening in some countries especially in Ghana. There is a mobile payment system which is very convenient but it would break your heart to know that when making transactions on the mobile system you have to pay double fees! You pay fees on both sending and even the receiving guy on the other hand also pays fees.
This is the reason why countries like Ghana or Nigeria would love to see cryptocurrencies legalized so that we can make payments in bitcoin because bitcoin charges us for low fees and it is very fast compared to the local mobile system. Not only that but there have been numerous situations whereby the system goes down and people have to wait for long hours before they can cash out. These are some of the reasons why i prefer bitcoin transactions than other payment systems.

i think this is because we are now in a modern era, where people wants to pay easily through online. And by that, bitcoin enthusiast also want to pay through their bitcoin balances, it can be used as payment and that's what people want, no hustle.

We are habituated in some traditional ways of transactions systems. Bitcoin is now a new way that has a lot of possiblities to reach among the maximum people within the next 5 years as a payment method. More and more acceptence from different countries can enhance this.

One of the major reasons why people would adopt bitcoin as a payment option is because of the cross border transaction ease. Ordinarily, making international transactions comes with delays, restrictions and also high charges. With bitcoin, all these can be bypassed.

I think that one of the reasons people would want to adopt bitcoin as a payment option when they found out about it is because it is easier and faster than any of the traditional payment methods, specifically debit and credit cards, online banking or PayPal. With bitcoin, and blockchain for that matter, the transaction is very easy and quick. That is something that the others fail in comparison.
