it depends on for how long you know each other, and since when you have been dating. if it is the first time, it would be better to go to a more modern restaurant that serves good wines with some not loudy but live music. if not the first one, it is ok to just go whatever you both would love to eat

Depends on the girl/guy TBH. I'm not a huge fan of super fancy dates (although they have their time and place).

For example, I'd rather a road trip w/ music and some drive through then a super fancy date - and the people i've been with in the past were the same. It just depends on the person.

What associations come to your mind when you hear the words Italy or Italian? I think about small and narrow streets with old architecture and perfume. The Italian style is so romantic and unique, that a date in such atmosphere will be fantastic.

Italian restaurants are really romantic but the food are very expensive specially for those who are investing for their future.
