Mastercard keeps searching for ways to provide a better service...

There is a difference between looking for ways to provide better services and investing. Most of us already knows that Microsoft works hand to hand with some exchanges/Blockchain wallet providers in providing services for debit cards, and that’s a normal thing which they do everywhere there is a such services just like PayPal. So that doesn’t mean they are investing, they are only after their own gain.

My opinion is that the right step for Mastercard is to provide more services because the blockchain technology itself is already widely used by people and also this technology is the technology of the future.

That is a very nice development and that is more reason I think cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology will rule the future.  If big companies like master card will come in then I believe other financial services providers are going to come in.  The future is very bright and all we need to do is to key to it as one of the early adopters.  If you follow the unfolding event you will agree with me that cryptocurrencies is the future.

I think it would be perfect for the financial sector and transactions. Mastercard is the most popular service in a payment so when adopting blockchain technology, Mastercard will become one of the most efficient and safe payment services for everyone to use.

of course large companies must be able to read the future for the continuity of their business. by joining blockchain, they don't stutter to face technological advancements

Good for mastercard in using blockchain in their business. This just shows that blockchain, although frowned upon as just a buzzword by a lot of people, is actually already spreading in a lot of businesses as it is actually a good technology that could be used not only in cryptocurrency.

If the news is reliable then it is very good. But honestly speaking, everything looks very suspicious, since a month ago I read news that Visa and Mastercard payment systems do not support the cryptocurrency market and do not intend to develop in this area.

They are not trying to develop cryptocurrencies per se but rather just the blockchain technology. It's quite common nowadays for financial institutions to tap on the power of blockchain, seeing that its use cases on their services would greatly speed up transactions and possibly improve security on their end. They're not the ones who wanted to employ such technology on their services as there are countless others waiting in queue for R&D about blockchain to put up significant results for their intended use cases.
I agree because I know that Visa and Mastercard doesn't even care to support cryptocurrency by now or in the future but what is interesting here is that they are adopting blockchain technology because they already know the advantages in it just like having faster transactions, security and other related features that gives users convenience and of course it will save much time  and effort.

It looks like MasterCard is interested in Bitcoin. If MasterCard has started implementing blockchain technology then it will make it easier for us to credit and pay it with bitcoin. And this could motivate some countries that ban bitcoin by looking at news like this.

Considering many Bitcoin buyers already use VISA or Mastercard credit cards and debit cards, it is not such a surprise to see MasterCard adopt the blockchain. In fact, the blockchain makes transactions more secure so it makes financial sense as to why financial companies are investing into it.

I wouldn't put it against every single bank, and payment processing company to invest in the blockchain in some way.

It makes the top crypto currency transactions more secure, definitely not the transactions within the legacy financial system. They are all centralized remember? Their security model is reversing and blocking transactions.

If banks are as greedy as they have always been, they won't even allow the customer to enjoy the efficiency gains they booked by adopting the blockchain technology. They are the rats Bitcoin (the rat poison) is meant to combat.

Banks could technically already operate partly on private blockchains. They could easily continue saying for years that they are researching and investing in blockchain tech, just to not allow you as customer to benefit from that advancement.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

Large companies that understand the essence of the blockchain technology, strive to introduce it into their business processes.

Initially, everyone was against it, but ultimately everyone will come to the blockchain.

No, not everyone is against blockchain. Actually banking system loves this technology because the way it can change their system for the better. It can really improved business wise that's why everyone is getting on-board with this technology.

Mastercard can really take advantage of blockchain by looking at how it can improved the processing of its transactions, from approval to actual charges to the card owner. So i'm not gonna be surprised but this moved at all, it all makes sense at operations and business point of view.

If the news is reliable then it is very good. But honestly speaking, everything looks very suspicious, since a month ago I read news that Visa and Mastercard payment systems do not support the cryptocurrency market and do not intend to develop in this area.

Times are changing for companies. Sometimes the decision or policy of a company is largely dependent on the people running it at the time which could change any minute the moment the board no longer trust the management and decides to bring in fresh blood. When this happen, the same thing they castigated, might be the very best alternative cause of action which is why I am always skeptical about news on how companies are saying or positioning some negatives about blockchain or crypto currency.

However, this should not be mistaken for their support for crypto because they are two separate things and its the one that is promoting their own objective they are likely to be receptive towards.

I think mastercard is not interested in Bitcoin, but actually in blockchain technology. Perhaps the MasterCard is preparing to use some kind of completely new currency about which we still do not know.

This is very interesting and a welcoming news for the blockchain. This gets to show that cryptocurrency is not the only functional use of the blockchain technology as most people think. It can also be integrated in other financial services.
