the good news came from the big Mastercard credit card company, Mastercard proposed Bitcoin transactions, MasterCard has a plan to apply the principle of fractional reserve for crypto.

payment processor using MasterCard will cover all products and all payment networks on MasterCard. means that transactions can be used for each transaction model.

and this decision will provide many benefits for Mastercard, in other situations, this decision will also accelerate transactions, maybe transactions between fiat and crypto will occur in seconds.

Well, if bitcoin allows mastercard to exchange or transact, it'll really be like two birds in one stone. But it might not necessarily combine those, as the transaction doesn't have the physical entity to be with the fiat coins. But the source of mastercard might be the same.

Mastercard Wins Patent for Speeding Up Crypto Payments

This is inevitable and last time it was the Visa CEO so they are now getting into cryptocurrencies. I'm guessing that the next big player would be PayPal going into crypto with their confirmation.

I would have been more excited at the news that a financial sector is incorporating bitcoin into its list of available payment options. And it could be accepted at regular ATMs.
A centralized cryptocurrency sounds like just another form of fiat currency but built rather on the blockchain technology.
It would surely be good for publicity as people would become more familiar with the term 'cryptocurrency'

This is really a good news for cryptocurrency and as I understand this move of Master card is they want to expand and align their service to some of the shops and Mall that also accepted cryptocurrency as payments , and the world were using cryptocurrency in every transaction little by little .

mastercard can be one of the best cards if you combine these two methods. this can be used as a way to introduce and combine conventional bank technology and cryptocurrency.

Well, it is not surprising because master card can do more improvements now even in the future. In fact they are not catering their own benefits but they catered the whole aspect of their business area which process and improvements are necessary to be done immediately in order to be viral to attract more costumers and investors.

Is this what you're talking about?

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/07/17/bitcoin-above-7000.html

Kind of old news, but services like this are only really useful until Bitcoin can scale in my opinion. Why go through third-party services when you can transact directly, right?

Either way, this is only a patent. This doesn't mean that they're guaranteed to push the idea through. They could simply be sitting on it to stop competitors from going ahead.

That is a very good news. A lot of people look for easy way to transact their money from crypto to fiat and this will help them a lot. It will also help the people of the countries where the crypto is banned, as such transaction through bank requires the mention of the source of income, which in this case will not be needed.

...maybe transactions between fiat and crypto will occur in seconds.

I can't really understand what this has to do with bitcoin and what the hell MasterCard is doing! but about this part I have to say what we are aiming for is that we reach a stage where you don't need to exchange fiat and bitcoin anymore. so in the end it won't matter what they do when bitcoin is already a working currency which you can use for anything that you use fiat for.

That is very good. If it's done by MasterCard, then each transaction process will be easier and faster. Bitcoin will have ATM machines in various parts of the world

Let's wait and see what form this will really take, I heard they were partnering with ibm to use their blockchain for mastercard payments and transactions, that might not mean the use of any cryptocurrency at all. I also don't ever want fractional reserves in bitcoin, that only leads to problems as we've seen many times over throughout history..

There is a lot of crypto projects on the card. Moreover, Mastercard and Visa began to work in this field. If these companies offer strong blockchain support, it can be valuable in the future.

This is not surprising news about Mastercard plans that will adopt cryptocurrency in its transaction mode, at the end of 2017 there is one project, STACK, has collaborated with Mastercard in terms of instant cryptocurrency payments, check here https://www.getstack.ca
