if you see history of the previous year this is indeed the case, but after entering the new year almost all of the altcoin prices rise up to 1000%

Isn't this scenario normal?  Pumps, dumps, getting out with profit, scams, this things always happen in trading.  Tell me with the bear market, how low will the cryptocurrency collapse?  If you are holding a coin and it is already bleeding low, let us say 90% down,  will you cash out?  Of course not, let us wait for the recovery first, besides, this kind of stuff (pump and dump) mostly happen to the token that does not have uses.  So if one is holding a solid token, with great development, project developer, it is best to hodl since the best thing is yet to come for these kind of project.
