Speaking on Tuesday at an Axios conference in Los Angeles, Dimon was asked about why he changed his mind on bitcoin. True to form, he doubled down on his previous statements, saying that he hadn’t changed his mind and just doesn’t “give a sh*t” about the subject.

He said:

“I never changed what I said, I just regret having said it. I didn’t want to be the spokesman against bitcoin. I don’t really give a sh*t, that’s the point, okay? Blockchain is real, it’s technology, but bitcoin is not the same as a fiat currency.”

Ever the crypto critic, Dimon has over the years used a myriad of epithets to convey his distaste for the subject, variously referring to it as a “fraud,” a “waste of time,” an asset that is “worth nothing,” and a “stupid” investment with “no actual value.” Unsurprisingly, he’s also a card-carrying member of the “blockchain not bitcoin” brigade.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

We(bitcoin community) also do no give a fuck about what he says or spills out...

We've invested in the bitcoin with various degrees of success, we've seen the good days and the bad days already

So we can carve out our opinions from our various experiences...

He's shitty statement doesn't change what the system has/and will achieve

You read my mind. who gives a f*ck about what Jamie Dimon think about bitcoin?
We love the ideology and concept behind bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in general. No one cares about what you said anymore, Mr. Dimon.

I generally dont care what the likes of Dimon say about bitcoin, IMO there they go overboard
in their negativity about it that it just doesnt add up for me.

Either hes has lost a tonne of his investment or Bitcoin did something personal to him.

Anyway he did say something positive "Blockchain is real, it’s technology..." Ill take that
as positive eventhough we know its real and it is helping to shape the next industrial revolution.

"However, as CCN has reported, JPMorgan has, despite Dimon’s hostile public stance, quietly begun “looking into” cryptocurrency, going so far as to acknowledge in published reports that the asset class is unlikely to disappear and could disrupt the banking industry."
In that same article, this statement popped up. So you see, everyone is entitled to his decisions and we as well as many others do believe in Satoshis vision. Ten years now and we are still around.

Do people still take comments from this guy seriously?? He doesn't give a shit about $Bitcoin because he has lost and old age is phasing them out of the new world! He won't give a shit about $Bitcoin but he is seriously endorsing ETH! Quite funny, He is only secretly crying for losing out on the whole $Bitcoin history and story! He was pissed when $Bitcoin gained substantially because he got jealous of those who saw that tech coming from day one! Do we care if he gives a shit about $Bitcoin or not?? Whether he accepts it or not, the future is here and it is $Bitcoin.

Yes Bitcoin is not the same as fiat currency, with Bitcoin, people no longer use Bank services to store funds and they can send funds abroad without bank services, Bitcoin can't provide big benefits for your business like fiat currencies, therefore, you always hate it

Well I think that he's got a point in this statement and regarding if he really hates bitcoin that is his own opinion, We have different kinds of opinion regarding the matter.

But I had a doubt if his statement is sincere I really seen this one statement that he really love the way blockchain does things and we can probably say that bitcoin is not really like fiat currency because the two cannot be lump with each other, Although I have a conclusion that he is really earning bitcoin and that he really has the privilege of using blockchain technology, And all his statement regarding that he hates bitcoin has just acted and not really legit to brought drama in the situation and bring fear to the community so he can definitely buy cheap.

So do we, Jamie. We also don't give a shit about your opinion. This is not 2014-2015 wherein a single statement from a relatively known persona in the financial space could move the markets hard. Also, the banker doesn't know that without bitcoin, the idea of the blockchain wouldn't even spring to mind. If he doesn't really care about bitcoin, or care about anything relating to it, why admit that blockchain is technology? He is one of the finest hypocrites living in this planet today.

He's right. Bitcoin is not the same as fiat currency. It is much better!
Jamie doesn't give a shit? Then why did he say that he'll fire his employees if he sees them trading Bitcoin? Later his bank was caught buying and his daughter is supposedly holding Bitcoins. A lot of coincidences for someone who doesn't give a shit.

“ I don’t really give a sh*t, that’s the point, okay? Blockchain is real, it’s technology, but bitcoin is not the same as a fiat currency.”
Ever the crypto critic, Dimon has over the years used a myriad of epithets to convey his distaste for the subject, variously referring to it as a “fraud,” a “waste of time,” an asset that is “worth nothing,” and a “stupid” investment with “no actual value.” Unsurprisingly, he’s also a card-carrying member of the “blockchain not bitcoin” brigade.
Well sure he doesn't give a $hit about bitcoin. Banks put pressure on bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, accusing their users of money laundering and thinking that cryptos are unacceptable since it's hard to prevent fraudulent activities with them. But they should really shut up after this scandal with $234 billion money laundering scheme in which several banks were involved (JP Morgan is one of them!). The current total market cap is smaller than the amount of money JP Morgan, Danske Bank Estonia and others are accused of laundering! After such a scandal, it's completely unfair to accuse cryptos of anything.

OMG
random person who doesnt use euro is asked about euro and the euro forum members suddenly get emotional

reality check of what should happen
as a brit i use the pound i dont care about the euro.. .....
euro forums....... 'oh well'

my point
find a subject. find a person that doesnt use that subject. ask him about a subject. and they are by default going to say they dont give a crap
so just dont get emotional about it. find something that actually matters to talk about

I'd care less about Jamie Dimon's opinions which also goes for any other known personalities. They don't control the way I think because I don't get influenced by them. This is where many crypto enthusiasts make a mistake. They take whatever ideology these well known people into account. They get affected so easily. We should have our own stand.

This guy is a fraud. He crashed the price of Bitcoin twice, so that his daughter could buy them at cheap rates. If he doesn't care about Bitcoin, then he shouldn't have spoken about it. He should be investigated for fraud and insider trading.
