Finally - Khabib the Eagle vs Floyd MayWeather

How many of you got the news? The Russian bear wresting beast is finally up to take on self-proclaimed wannabe boxer GayWather this May. More info about the event can be found online (Sorry for not linking the sources as I'm not able to find them at the moment). The update I saw was on Khabib's official page about this event on May 2019. Just thought of you guys know to plan your bets in advance.

This is the link about the statement of Dana White about the bout in which I think will not happen. Dana don't like the last match of Mayweather and Mcgregor in which, well Connor lost, I think that is a given.

Dana also states that it gave them a profit (Floyd-Mcgregor Fight) but he also said that he is not into making that kind of fights. If Floyd Mayweather will fight Khabib, he must go to MMA in which I don't think will happen since we all know how he will react to that. Khabib Nurmagomedov may want to fight the undefeated boxer but as Dana says it, he should be focusing on defending his title here(MMA).

I am interested in Khabib since the last match, and I see that he has a big chance to win the game again. He has big power, and he can attack without mercy. I only hope that my friend knows about Khabib so we can place bets together like usual and we can make a win of the money again like before because I don't have any info about the game.

LOL, I don't think that Mayweather is man enough to go with Khabib in the Octagon with MMA rules. He will be 'eaten alive' if he chooses to go inside with Khabib. There's still some things that Khabib needed to settle with the Nevada Commission so I'm not sure if this fight will push through. Looks like though that Mayweather has been in the limelight for the last couple of months now, first with the supposedly Manny Pacquiao 2 and now with Khabib. Is he running out of money now? or he just wanted to stay relevant in the sports again?

indeed this cannot be said officially because there has been no official news published in the media, it may still be just a rumor. but if it is true in the future, it will be like the story of mcgreagor vs mayweather where an UFC fighter against boxers competes in the rules of boxing, then the chances of boxers to win are certainly greater than the UFC fighter.

Khabib wants to fight Mayweather but the thing is that, Floyd, if ever any fighters want to fight him, he wants to do it in his stage, the boxing ring. Based on the link given, it is like that Khabib really wants to fight Floyd in his ring while White is not into that since, well let's be honest, that is a handicap to his MMA fighters. I agree on White said, Khabib should really focus on his title.

Dana White recently said that if that fight were to happen than Mayweather needs to come to UFC in order to fight Khabib. Considering that is impossible this fight will not happen for sure.

First of all Khabib is not a striker, he is a take down type fighter and if he goes to boxing than Mayweather will have an easy win, however if Dana White doesn't allow Khabib to go box like Conor and just wants Mayweather to come than he is dreaming. Mayweather won't come to UFC ring to fight a takedown fighter when he is the best boxer in the world, boxers do not fight in that style and would challenge a forty year old Mayweather.

On top of that all the boxing matches Mayweather fights are promoted by himself and he makes all the money from it, if he goes to UFC than Dana White will make the money and give some of the profits to Mayweather which he won't accept. This is a dream fight that will never happen in any case.

It will be an interesting fight but after seeing Mcgregor VS Mayweather in a boxing match I really think that a boxer would surely win and if this fight would go on the same thing will just happen, It is like a Shark VS a Tiger the only problem is the Shark was not in the water which is very unfair, We will just make a handicap over a mixed martial artist that is well known to his environment to a pro boxer that is pretty much well versed in a boxing ring and the boxing rules, and just like the article that had been brought up this fight will not happen and I really think people are well aware of who's gonna win.

It will have a huge betting as people are really fond of this type of wrestling and having such big players on the field will definitely lure all the major gamblers to be bet on their favorites and choose who will be wining. All the best to everyone who would be betting on them.

Nah! For sure it'll be a boxing match and like many times before, mayweather being by far the better boxer, will end up beating another ufc champ. I don't think they should continue pitting mma fighters with boxers. And it would look like money is the main draw for these sports.

If this happens the bets are going to be on Floyd, like always. I think that Conor is a better boxer than Khabib and he definitely lost his fight with Floyd and in this match wrestling skills don't matter at all. It would be a great middle finger from Khabib to Conor if he'd win vs Floyd and achieve what Conor couldn't, but I just don't see how it could be possible. He's out of his league here.

Just like on what happened on Conor fight.This is already an anticipated fight on whose gonna win.It is too obvious because UFC and Boxing wont really be ever the same.If one of them step in
to the ring which isnt really part on their career line then it will automatically a disadvantage.

This isnt a sports but a disrespectful thing to be done by a fighter.It did make some noise but not really an impressive thing to boost out some good impacts on his career and also this isnt a difficult fight for him but
rather a VERY VERY VERY small chances of winning against a strong boxer but well for the sake of money then it doesnt really matter at all.

I agree, this is another joke fight. And you guys are right, Mayweather don't have the "balls" to fight Khabib. I don't understand UFC's obsession with Floyd though, let Dana match Khabib with Tony or rematch with Conor. I think its enough that we have seen cross-over fights between the two fighting disciple. No disrespect to Khabib, but fighting Floyd doesn't do any good on your resume. (except for huge pay check... )

Thanks for all your constructive input boys! Indeed this isn't finalized yet but there are talks that they will have a two-way match - 1 in a boxing ring and other MMA. Nothing is certain though. From the comments I could make out Khabib is winning both of them.
