The Block Chain use cases have been increasing day by day ranging from remittance services to voting system Block Chain is now getting wider range of acceptance. The crypto enthusiasts are also increasing day by day .Blockchain's claim to fame is its ability to fully encrypt personal data on the internet, allowing for the digital translation of assets and the elimination of need for a protective middle man,With Block chain, everyone is able to clearly see who the owner of the asset is, but only the person with the right key can unlock the door of that asset.I think more and more use cases should emerge in the near future and one day we must be proud to be crypto enthusiasts

well on a personal note, i forsee the blockchain technology taking over the world generally, so in the nearest future, we will see a blockchain base learning system, a blockchain base transport system, and so forth. the blockchain base technology if adopted fully will correct lots of shortcomings in human existence.

I feel 2018 is the year Bitcoin get more attention and applications in the real world. Every sector at one point or the other is using the application of blockchain technology for a smooth operation without stress. Application of the technology is wide now and it's gaining more attention.

The increasing use cases are cropping up daily and a huge reason for that is because the invention of smart contracts, human errors can now be replaced with smart contract technology in many fields especially anyone that involves a human playing a middleman.

Yes the opportunities of blockchain is wide and if developed could be endless in the coming future. Blockchain has made transcation from different locations or time zone quite easy, fast and at no cost.

right, now there are a lot of projects that are trying to implement blockchain on their business models, but 80% of the projects are there, I haven't seen anything booming that could make blockchain technology really well known among the non crypto community
if only a project is successful, and involves a blockchain, maybe now bitcoin and cryptocurrency will be easy to find anywhere, and by anyone

well, i think blockchain has definitely the potencial to change the world... surely in 1-2 years our digital life will be based on blockchain and our daily life will also be controled by blockchain through transports, payment, education, utility services, traffic lights, etc...
this will bring the wide blockchain advantages you've mentoned into our life, nevertheless there are a few dangers, either by beying used by the wrong people to control other people, or by having roll-backs and stuff like that that can corrupt the whole idea of having a blockchain...
Let's get together and help to change the world

Allow me to explain Applications and use cases of Blockchains
Blockchain technology is a revolution in systems of record.
1.   As a system of record -
2.   Tokenization
3.   Inter-organizational data management
4.   For governments:
5.   For financial institutions:
6.   For audit trails:
7.   For smart contracting
8.   For automated governance
9.   For markets
10.   For streamlining of clearing and settlement
11.   For automating regulatory compliance
All of this work is allowing people to secure digital relationships that were impossible before. Data is being disclosed differently, secured differently and recorded differently. This is changing digital relationships, creating the ability for them to be automated in code via 'smart contracts'.

Blockchain technology has been touching our day to day activities. Merchants accepting cryptocurrencies for payments and also used as a means on storage of value. With blockchain its possible to store your files on cloud without being worried of data theft.
Mant projects like Ontology, Thekey, Selfkey, etc are working on identity verification using blockchain.
There are so much use cases to talk about. With this amazing tech, the party is just getting started.

Blockchain has limitless use cases. One element which is usually overlooked is that blockchain doesn't have to exist on a consumer/global level.

Blockchain can exist on a localised closed network, for example - a hospital - for storing patient records securely in multiple locations whilst ensuring everything is up to date.

Yes, there is an increasing use of blockchain technology but we should remember that blockchain can exist without cryptocurrency and we should be able to find ways to make people be aware that cryptocurrencies can still be a big help for their transactions so that there would be efficiency in their transactions.

We should be proud that we are already here ahead of others and part of the revolution and innovation. Sooner or late, may it be a big company or an individual, blockchain technology would just be a common word because it would be the normal technology that would be used.

Why would you need blockchain if its closed? Distributed database is enough, why complicate things? Cheesy

Blockchain is a new type of secure database. Traditional databases such as distributed databases are difficult to fully secure and are easily manipulated. Blockchain is extremely difficult to manipulate due to its ledger. Security conscious organisations such as banks, governments, hospitals etc. will benefit massively from private blockchains when the technology becomes streamlined and much easier to implement.

Hmm, its opposite man. Database is secured by password, $0,0000000001 cost when blockchain must be secured by raw computer power, which could be from $100 000 to $100 000 000 to even $100 000 000 000.
I really want you to prove me wrong here, please do.
