Newbie Needs some Help with a Bitcoin Payment Module

Hi,

I hope someone can advise me where to get this information from.

I have an electrum wallet. I have purchased and installed a BITCOIN payment module on my website, but the module configuration is requesting the following information:

1. The Extended Public Key for the blockchain wallet.
2. The API key.     it also says underneath the box where I am supposed to enter the information "please apply for a API key at https//api.blockchain.info/customer/signup

I am really confused of where to get this information and even more confused about the request for an API key from this other website (surely my own wallet has an API key that should be sent to the customer)

As I say, I am a complete novice at this and would really appreciate some help.

1. Select in the wallet menu >>> Master Public Keys. A window opens from there you will be able to copy the key
(xPub=Extended Public Key)

2. The API comes from the provider side (your blockchain wallet). Check around your member  area there.
 You will just have to click a button it will generate a key to use with the module configuration

Thank you again. I have found the master key. Great start, but the other bit I cannot find where to go? there doesn't seem to be a "members" option in all of the menus

Im a bit concerned that I have to get a new wallet from Blockchain, instead of using my electrum one? Is this correct?

You need the Extended Publick key + API key. Do you have the API key right now?. If not then you need to apply here https://api.blockchain.info/v2/apikey/request/. Once you have both keys you can then follow the doc https://www.blockchain.com/fr/api/api_receive.  And add both keys to your website module.

Which payment module exactly?

It would appear from the info that the module is requesting that it is designed for use with Blockchain.info (now known as blockchain.com).


Is there anything in the documentation for the payment module that specifies which wallets you can actually use the module with?
