At DevCon, a major Ethereum-focused conference held in Prague, Czech Republic hosted by large conglomerates and leading cryptocurrency businesses including EY, Microsoft, ShapeShift, Santander, Blockfolio, and Wanxiang, the MetaMask development team officially released and showcased the MetaMask mobile wallet. Joseph Lubin, the founder and CEO of New York-based ConsenSys, the largest blockchain software firm in the world with over 1,000 developers, shared the product release with the official user interface of MetaMask mobile.

I think the security system on mobile wallets is not much different from extension or online wallets, you can access your wallet on another device if your phone is lost, but can other people access your wallet if they have access to your phone? Yes, such a possibility can occur, therefore, don't forget to back up your wallet and log out from the application

There are too many wallets that are on mobile alreadyso this is just part of their chasing development. 

Nothing new in short since most of the wallets are already in mobile phones. With what you have said about losing the phone, it's part of the risk and that's a natural one though its not related to the development but it can't be solved by the developers. As a user, we need to be responsible of keeping our phones.

If their phone is stolen, thieves will not be able to access their phone because they do not have a password or fingerprint verification so I found it reasonable and safe

It depends on the password, if it's the user's birthday or something similar, it will be easy to guess. In addition to this, if the user doesn't protect his phone with a pin, the chances increase.

I love this concept, being able to access your metamask account without going through your laptop. But now it is a bit more compact, because it is already in the mobile phone. I am just hoping its security from the desktop to mobile phone is still the same.

great news. but its better to use a separate phone for crypto works. metamask is always safe and the mobile version will be much better. also it gives much security for MEW.

I think this is a great development for metamask
After their successful add on to Mozilla and brave browsers and even uc browsers
I think I have my doubts about metamask app, how secured will it be ??

But I’m willing to wait 2-6 months before creating an account of my own

MetaMask is doing really well and I think that this step is very important. More and more people use mobile phones for everything, many exchanges relased their mobile solution.
By the way about 1.5 million people are using MetaMask solution.

Finally we will see the mobile version of Metamast. I have been waiting for so long to use this wallet on my mobile phone. Cannot wait to test it, because MEW is the most comfortable wallet to use, that was ever created.

I have also read it few days ago when I saw it in my news feed.This is really a good news for people who usually use a mobile phone like me.

Me too,  that is why I dont want to use metamask in my mobile to visit exchange sites to sell my crypto coins. We need to be careful if we are talking about  money.

Well, this is certainly good news. Although we don't plan to use MetaMask, this will help a lot of other projects.

I still have no idea how it will actually work. Hopefully, it will be as good as it sounds and much better than the numerous mobile wallets that we already have today.

I am very supportive of the metamask mobile version, because not everyone is sit in front of a laptop or computer for a 24-hour, unlike the smartphones which is almost difficult to release from everyday life.
Regarding security I think they will make the same or similar web. But the majority of errors are caused by users not because of applications or systems, maybe 9: 1

MetaMask is one of the best thing to happen to Crypto, I have been using it for my browser for months and has saved me so many times from all these Phishing sites, anyone that has not installed it need to do so because security in this space is priceless, you won't appreciate this unless your accounts get hacked
