In my opinion, they are thinking like that because they dont have the knowledge about our modern technologies today, most of the people who are criticizing cryptocurrency are those people who are old enough that they cannot understand how to operate a simple ipad, so they literally dont have a clue about the way our system is going.

The history of trading or exchanging is a very interesting one. Man decided to finally limit the burden of using items like cowries or some special stones to make payment because it was cumbersome - the reason for the paper money. Before, I dont mind it why we are using paper as money. But as a citizen, we have to obey what does the law says and our countries has the same law with it. As they declare something like paper/cash as money, it will turn out that way.

I just realized it lately, yeah why we have to use paper as money if our ancestors successfully live through trading "barter", exchanging of goods to goods/services vice versa.

People think about convenience in everything so if some kind of medium can act as valuable thing to exchange between the goods that why the paper money and coins were introduced but the fiat money system comes very lately just before two centuries ago in my knowledge at that time only the banks take over the currencies from governments.

For me, this using paper as currency is a long time system. For sure before it implement a long time ago it goes through a different discussion. In the old days, are system is trading of goods. People are trading goods to goods to fullfil their needs. But as time goes by, they think another way in transaction that is why they developed this kind of system which is paper as a currency to used to trade their goods.

Money is being made because they are paying money, this is not made out of thin air since if they do, do you think we will be able to see it? Although paper is a cheap material, it is money. Money is very important in society now. As the world grows, money becomes more important than ever. More money will show you are a good person and a better person to help the society. Modern society is no longer the same as in the past.

Yes I agree with you, that the payment system will be developed as the days passed and comes from a lot of discussion before implementing it and make a value for it as the government needed to upgrade in order to continuously sustain the needs of its citizens. Technically you can never face paper money per se as you can pay with your credit card - nowadays it`s accepted almost everywhere, even in the smallest stores. It`s amusing to think that in this case fiat is not different from Crypto - supported by nothing other than the government and without psychical form - tie Crypto to a credit card and most people will not notice the difference. I wonder how many people actually know how modern banking system that they use daily works, let alone blockchain and Crypto.

I do not know what currency you use, but the American dollar is very lasting and practically not fake.In view of the very rapid development of all mankind and also new technologies over time, paper money will disappear by itself.And by far the cryptocurrency will replace fiat money.
