Bitcoin Discussion sorted by new currently looks like this:

Obviously I've reported all these threads for deletion, but given these are all newbies who are clearly being paid/incentivized to open new topics, can we just ban them?

My second point is that this spam-fest has been going on for 7 hours, and none of these reports have been acted upon yet. We need dedicated mods for individual boards that can stop this kind of abuse from happening promptly.

We really need to implement this suggestion

Even if it's just in the BD and AD boards, it'll kill spam for good

A mod must have seen this thread, because all those accounts have just been nuked.

Locking.
