The creation of a new asset class, now known as  a "digital asset" is beyond dispute. This really is crypto's coming of age party. EOS
EOSIO and EOS are growing and now EOS related DApps are more popular than similar ETH dapps that had first mover advantage and are older.
I've heard EOS airdrop tokens described as a new gold rush in this bear market...which was enough for the area to catch my attention.
In fact, more and more developers are working on EOS because of the insane amounts of $$$ raised during EOS ico. Block One has a 1 billion usd war chest and will be handing out grants to the best developer teams.

Vechain
Vechain is a project based in Singapore that is focused on using blockchain tech as a supply chain and logistics solution for businesses. Using RFID chips (think NFC type function) + QR codes that are embedded into products, the whole path from production to consumer can be logged and tracked. It also provides encryption and product certification as well, so expensive or important commodities cannot be counterfeited. The CEO of Vechain is Sunny Lu, who used to work with Qtum (the rumour is they parted on bad terms) and before that was CIO for Louis Vuitton China.

If this was not amazing enough, they are already collaborating or partnered with the following companies:

BYD - carbon tracking app partnership
This huge and famous Chinese electric car manufacturer (Warren Buffet is a stakeholder in BYD) partnered with Vechain and DNV GL on developing an app for tracking how much carbon emissions are saved driving one of BYD's electric cars (wow these guys aren't dumb). The plan is that drivers will collect rewards in the form of a carbon credit token, which will be tradable for discounts or even goods/services.

People’s Insurance Company of China (PICC) - Back-end tech solution
PICC is an insurance company that operates in Mainland China. It also happens to be a state owned enterprise so this a great partnership for Vechain to have.  PICC are specifically partnered with DNV GL and Vechain to build a back-end data collection, auditing and storage solution using vechain tech. The idea is this will save costs and reduce insurance sale turn around times. Similar to the way that Ripple's tech is being used to reduce back-end costs for the banks; Vechain will help PICC to do the same and these cost savings will be passed on to PICC's customers in the form of reduced insurance premiums.

Invest Cyprus - Developing blockchain tech on a national level
Invest Cyprus (the national investment fund of Cyprus), Vechain and CREAM have signed a memmorandum of understanding saying that they will collaborate with each other in the future to develop blockchain solutions for the economy in Cyprus (specifically in the area of finance). Vechain Ecosystem ICOs
