It is obvious that the cryptocurrency community is really having an uphill task with the bear market we all are witnessing.

The last thing we need now will definitely be a competition , as we urge all hands to be on deck in every little way to witness an end of the year bull run, even if it's for a week.

Just today, i got a link from a friend in Canada bearing a campaign about Paypal former employee's plan to launch it's own currency called the Q.

I wanted to believe this innovation will be blockchain and crypto based, but my conviction seems to be deluding me.

Since the link is more of a campaign, i'll stay away from pasting it here,  except if am authorised to.

Please house,  what do you make of this?

Well if im getting you right this new blockchain based initiativeQ project is not by the official paypal company rather it is announced by a previous employee and important team member from paypal but now he is working on his own project and paypal does not have anything to do with it.

Exactly; the link made it known that it's from a former employee of the company,  not the main company.
Thanks for that correction.

If it's about crypto and Blockchain it'll be a huge blessing and a big plus for the industry because Big players are really needed in the crypto business to make it attractive to other intending investors and at the same time restore the confidence which have been eroded by the bear market...

It will be a good point if paypal also is launching its own cryptocurrency. Imagine what benefit will it give to the masses and good advantage. I am hoping for it to be implemented soon enough. Surely its price will never go down compared to some coins that has a few functionalities.

I also saw that link and read about project. Paypal has absolutely no connection with this project. Their main approach is distribute fare amount free. Then people can use it. They hope it will help to increase the usage of coin.

Well it sounds good, former employee of Paypal has a lot of experiences in payment and electric money. I would like to know more, do you have any official news or releases about this? What is the name of this project?

One thing for sure in the world of cryptocurrency and ICO is that nothing can be sure...actually! I mean nobody can be certain that a specific project can be legit and can be valuable after the end of the campaign period as there had been projects which relieved many good ratings and praises only to disappear with the money of their investors gone to the wind...on the other hand there were dismissed as just jokes but eventually made it to the top projects of the year. Now with regards to this Q Initiative I think am giving it a chance since it is not asking money from me anyway so we have nothing to lose. I can only convey my wish that the people that project will do everything possible to make it another success and not another example of failure due to greed and mismanagement.

Yeah, I know some people who participated.  It seems like it has potential, but we have nothing concrete yet.  Just a website and a social media campaign.  We'll see if anything really comes of it.  One of the things I'd pay attention to is the participation/role of Saair Wilf, the former PayPal employee in question.

Well everyone got the right to create the new currency, as long as the person is not thinking of scamming someone, and the former paypal label won't help the man to promote the project, and I think it's a bad idea to create alt coin now, the bear market with tons of alt coin will make the price harder to go up
