[ANN][THC] The Hempcoin (THC)

ok, I am having some trouble here getting my masternode going.
I followed the guide here: http://hempcoin.org/scripts/THC_Masternode_Setup.pdf
I Purchased an VPS from https://my.vultr.com (Ubuntu 16.04) as stated.
I setup the local wallet, put the coins in the Masternode account, configured the Masternode configuration file.
I ran the VPS Setup.
I reopened the local wallet, clicked on the Masternodes tab and I see my Masternode listed.
I click the Start All button and I get a message about Failed to start masternode, Error: Invalid IP address.
I go back to my ssh client and run - ./hempcoin-cli masternode status
and this is the result:
error: {"code":-1,"message":"Masternode not found in the list of available masternodes. Current status: Not capable masternode: Hot node, waiting for remote activation."}

The IP Address is correct.
Any help?

EDIT:
Never mind, I figured it out. I had to do:
If you’re using a Mac and your masternode does not start after pressing the Start all button, you may
have to start your masternode from the debug console.  Open the debug console and type the
command below, replacing
<MASTERNODE_NAME> with the actual name you’ve given to the masternode.

startmasternode alias false <MASTERNODE_NAME>

Even though, I'm not on a Mac and Tried with both Windows and Linux

Quick question as im new to this , got 156k Thc on bittrex , i read instructions anout the swap ,
But what is all about to keep the 50k thc plus ? Sorry for probably stupid question but as i said totally new ... thank i for all your help / explanation ..

 you can setup masternode with 50k THC it will stake and give you profit.  here you can get more profit info : https://masternodes.online/currencies/THC/

but, is this swap will be manually or automatically,,
i think if the swap run in manual mode, that will take a long time

I am having the same problem, also using VULTR.
I can Enable the MN in the console using:  startmasternode alias false <MN Name>
However, when I check on my VPS using: ./hempcoin-cli masternode status
I get: error: {"code":-1,"message":"Masternode not found in the list of available masternodes. Current status: Not capable masternode: Hot node, waiting for remote activation."}

Then after a while my wallet Masternode says Missing and I am yet to get any rewards from running it, I assume because it's not actually running, although it says it is enabled. I am running: Hempcoin Core version v2.0.0.0-ee178aa (64-bit) on Windows 7 Pro.

to mutch thc... if you follow the instruction all is good... i passed 24h to this f**** masternode and i realised that maybe the problem it was i smoked to mutch. big thank's to the team who help me... the guys are really cool

ya mine won't run, i see others above have had the issue of "no valid ip" when trying to run a masternode. It doesnt work through the console either and it IS the right ip... oh well

A couple of questions about masternodes.

Can i keep my wallet on my own computer and do i need to leave it open ?

I ask this beacause when i read the masternode setup guide i need to generate the masternode key, the ip adress will be a local one or my dhcp WAN ip.
In the setup guide they use a public ip, so i assume their wallet is on a server with fixed ip.

Withdrew THC from Bittrex into new, synced wallet and unlocked for staking over 24 hrs ago. Not running MN, just ordinary staking, but still waiting for the green light. Anyone got the go light yet?
