I know that 360 degrees advertising is already in use. But how about VR advertising? Could that be a thing?
A lot of companies could benefit from doing virtual ads due to the possibility of "being inside" a hotel room, or a car, or a restaurant.
I guess there is a lot of work to do until companies will do this but it will be worth waiting.

Already saw some things like that. It was a hotel in Dubai if I remember well which would allow you to see inside the rooms. That was on Facebook few months ago!
I believe VR is a great effort for user experience

I think advertising in VR chat-it's cool and profitable, but damn, it's hard to implement

VR is an interesting technology but it has a disadvantage is requirement of equipment. It is potential but not easy to deploy.

VR has enormous potential, but it won't achieve mass acceptance until everyone can earn and save money with it, which has started happening.

Wal-mart, for example, saved money and time by training their employees in VR. https://blog.walmart.com/innovation/20180920/how-vr-is-transforming-the-way-we-train-associates

Virtual reality in general has a lot of potential, but it will take someone really good to be able to create an ad in VR. Not only that, it also has to be an ad of a big company, otherwise it may not work at all. Why? Because VR isn't cheap. That alone serves as an hindrance already.

I think that in perspective VR gear`s price, as the price of almost any other tech prior to it, will become lower and make this tech affordable for everybody - and this will be the golden age for VR ads. They may not be present at this point as the technology is on rather early stage of development, but later, I believe, advertising companies will not miss this opportunity.

Did you also think about the possible VR entrepreneurs who may emerge? Seems like new opportunities for millennials.

VR is awesome, but it is likely to go the way of 3D...the cool thing at the time, VR sickness if a serious problem that needs to be overcome.

However, there are many cool VR crypto projects.

As of this moment, I don't see how VR can increase my personal income. But yes, for millennials or rather the Gen Z, this would be a good opportunity for them to get into especially if they are already interested in VR. This would give them time to develop the technology and come up with ideas of which they could possibly make money few years down the road. Better still, if they are able to integrate VR and cryptocurrency, they could be the next rich kids on the block.

VR is great for advertising! It’s an elevated way of storytelling, because audiences become more engaged in the experience. And the more engaged they are, the better they remember a brand.

Sure VR it is going to have tons of ads (the evil man in the movie "ready player one" wanted to do that) so it's a matter of time before that happens because VR still is a little expensive for many people so for now there is no point in spending money on ad campaigns for only few people

I believe that any advertising if it is profitable in the future will be used by many companies. Now just VR is not so common and advertising will not be mass.

This is certainly a good idea that needs to be implemented. I'm surprised no one thought of that. Although, in my opinion Google plans something like this

Quite a popular question nowadays, advertising in VR should cost a lot of money. And how will it be implemented? When showing online movies? Or games?

I've read about using VR in advertising real estate where you can see the property while staying home.

That is so cool! A VR to see the property! Then it would be cooler if we will use bitcoin to buy them.

It may take a long time to come
But in the future it will be possible.
The ads will be better.
