Price was what made crypto viral last year. Added on top of it there was some mainstream buzz about people posting on social media, memes about crypto and also the SEC putting up regulations on crypto. All these things bring in a lot of new eyes on the market and the technology. A lot of people who had never heard of bitcoin heard it for the first time.

Currently there is nothing important going on except that price is tanking. This would be the time to promote it but it would not get much attention since price is dropping. Its human nature not to be interested in stuff that is dropping in price on speculative markets. Give it time and it will go to the other side.
