Good day!

I am interested to know the details needed to set up a mining equipment for altcoins. Obviously I am new in this field and would like to learn about altcoin mining. If it is alright to ask here the following details needed:

First
I need an equipment for this to start with. I need a list of equipment for an option and if possible to provide a brief details about the equipment.

Second,
I need to know a legit mining equipment provider here in the forum or is it possible to buy in our local for it seems that some of it were also related to gaming equipment/mining equipment.

Third,
I need an instruction on how to set up mining equipment to a specific altcoins I want to mine.
I am not not familiar about computer but still I can manage to operate and even has a little knowledge about assembling and disassembling computer. I do hope that mining equipment will have some instructions on how to set up the mining equipment.

I just want to start a small altcoin mining activity at home.

There is a couple of ways to start mining Altcoins, and it is different from one coin to another, so before you build up your rig or buy your miner you need to decide what you want to mine. And for this, you can use a lot of sites that can give you a good information about profit and costs for each coin, for example, Whattomine is really a good site with a lot of information about coins and equipment.

After you decide the coin you want to mine you need to know which equipment will perform best with that particular coin, this will also be included in the above site or mostly any site related to mining. Then you can start building your rig.

First you would need to tell your budget. Is it 100$, 1000$ or 10000$?

Do you want to try mining first? Do you have existing hardware like CPU, Mobo, RAM etc?

At the moment used minig rigs are very cheap. Look for ads, preferably in the local area, look at the place and buy if you like it.
