The mission of PAWS is to provide animals with the basic necessities for a happy and healthy life, including love and care. At first, the vision of PAWS was primarily focused on care and support for dogs and cats, but progressively extended outwards to wildlife and also endangered wildlife.

The PAWS project gives us personal satisfaction as pet owners or as having grown up with pets around us. Our pets have been an important part of our families and we would now like to give something back as appreciation for everything we have gained and learned from this unconditional love.

PAWS has chosen to create a cryptocurrency, as it is one of the best modern methods for instantaneous transactions and minimal transaction fees. We feel that this allows for contributors and donors to be able to have more of their donations directly support the cause or campaign to their choosing, rather than getting gouged by third-party service fees. Utilizing blockchain technology allows for transactions to be more easily tracked on an open, public ledger. Now, everyone can see exactly how much funding or resources are sent, received, and where they go.

PAWS utilizes masternodes as a way of validating transactions on the blockchain. This not only provides a more safe and accurate way to verify data but also creates a faster network. Members are able to set up a masternode(s) and contribute to the network. In return, they receive rewards that are paid in PAWS.

No, I don’t believe I have seen any other projects similar to PAWS. If there are others and they have been a success or a failure then I can’t comment on why that would have been.

It is a very long answer to give on how our project can be a success. All these details can be found in our discord server and by doing your own due diligence. I would be happy to discuss this in more detail with you or provide a document outlining our future plans and goals.

I will say that we are aiming to build more than just a masternode/crypto project. Our goal is to build a global brand around PAWS.

Crypto Bridge Give 24+ PAWS Masternodes to Hackers

Dear PAWS Community,

This is the announcement that we were hoping that we would not have to make.

We have just learned that the 24+ PAWS Mastenodes that CryptoBridge had been holding have now been released back to the hackers. This was in despite all of the valiant efforts from Mike from Crypto Hash Tank who provided the evidence that had been asked for. There had been a false hope for over 1 week when CryptoBridge had seized the stolen coins but that hope has now vanished.

What this means is that there are people who have lost their PAWS and that CryptoBridge is standing beside criminals. PAWS are a public team and animal charity. We are not a privacy coin, there is no confusion in this. Our blockchain is transparent and anyone can see the movement of the stolen coins and where they came from. CryptoBridge who hide behind the anonymity of a Decentralised Exchange blatantly chose to ignore all efforts and evidence provided to them. PAWS will not be the only project to be affected by CryptoBridge’s decision to allow criminal acts on their services.

PAWS management will meet to make a decision on what to do next.

PAWS Will Not See Anyone Lose Out After CHT Hack

Dear PAWS Community,

As mentioned earlier, PAWS management has met and come to a decision after Crypto-Bridge failed to make the right decision and return the funds to CHT.
We believe that none of our users should lose out due to the unjust action of others. However, it is not easy to instantly introduce an additional 25k PAWS into circulation. The stolen coins are in the market and out of our control. Recently over the space of 1 week, we reduced the supply on Crypt-Bridge from 56k to 29k, only to see it rise again with dumpers and others selling when demand was low.

The decision we have made:
CHT have now twice been victims of hackers in the space of a few months, the first time we were lucky to escape, so we will not be returning PAWS to CHT and will be asking to be delisted.

All users that lost their coins will be reimbursed from PAWS company funds but this can’t be instant. An account will be created on our platform With 25k PAWS deposited. This will be left to grow and accumulate for a maximum period of 3 months, or sooner if market conditions improve.

When the time is right we will deposit the appropriate shares from the accumulated pool in accounts of all users that were affected.

We realise that 3 months can be a long time but many of you are in this for the long term and we hope you are happy that we are covering your losses and protecting our current situation with this gesture.

Could all users that were affected by the hack please create an account and it is strongly advised to enable 2FA and drop your details in with the number of coins that you have lost. We will verify all details to be correct before funds are sent to your accounts.
We would also like to ask all of our community to help us reduce supply in circulation and do their part with us and if they can buy even small amounts of PAWS from exchanges to reduce the supply, it would be greatly appreciated.

PAWS Updates Part 1 - What we have achieved to date.

Dear PAWS Community,

PAWS was created and launched in October 2018. In 10 months we have over delivered on everything except development.

We have achieved a long list of listings and exchanges, including Coin Market Cap in our first 2 days, that many larger and heavily funded projects would envy us for.

PAWS is listed on 4 exchanges and holds 2 legal US entities. We have done everything we possibly could achieve and more without any outside funding but we have failed to deliver on our tech.

We have introduced some innovative ideas and solutions that has allowed us to punch well above our weight and to keep an average price of over $1 per coin for a number of consecutive days in February and other months.

PAWS team created and developed the VAULT Investments project and platform with PAWS in mind. We provide a means to host all your PAWS for free, to enable you to hold through hard times such as we are experiencing right now, without any additional costs or outlays. We currently host more than 50% of all PAWS masternodes.

Our blockchain has been maintained and managed, secured but yet our web development has just not happened for us. This has been our "Achilles heel" and a major disappointment.

How did this happen?
PAWS is a project that started with limited funds and a small core team. Until the development of the VAULT Platform, we have not allowed anyone to be involved in our "sensitive" areas due to the mistrust that we all have witnessed in crypto. We are a public team and company and have to act responsibly to ensure the safety and security of our users. This strict stance has meant that until recently we have not had the capacity in our team to extend beyond our blockchain.

Dear PAWS Community,

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been with us since the beginning, and to all the others who have joined us along the way. PAWS has always been our baby, and at times it has been extremely difficult to stand back helpless while it has been abused by the unsavoury events that are part and parcel of the crypto world.  

With VAULT, we have much to offer PAWS, both in what we have currently discussed and for what is still to come before the PAWS relaunch. These tools will allow us to manage the supply from the beginning, and to offer everyone far more than we have done so far. In addition, it will give us more options and flexibility with our potential partners and sponsors.
