I have that on my description as well.
I say you're "covering your ass", because someone pointed out that you are unwilling to accept escrow after private discussions with you and your response was "that's in my description" as if you had been up-front with that from the beginning and this user was being redundant; they were not.

You added it, after this user brought it up and you brushed them off as if you had it in the description prior to them mentioning it. This is what I meant by "covering your ass".

Very good. This is how the potential buyer is going to feel about their
BTC. Therefore, a 3rd party is necessary in order to add this "surety", or rather security, that you are requesting. Nobody wants to send you their funds without some kind of "surety", as well.
A goofy demo of you playing video games on god-knows what card doesn't add any reassurance that you will send the card, even if it works, and there's no way to verify that the card shown in the demo is the card I will receive. The best way to satisfy the need for security and reassurance for all parties involved is to utilize an escrow. Without this, you will not receive any interested buyers and probably will end up being considered a scammer even if you are not one.
