I've been interested in www.freestateproject.org for several years now,  and even more so after meeting an active participant at the NYC Bitcoin conference. (Evoorhees)

Recently while surfing the internet I had an idea that I think may help Bitcoins, the Free State Project, and Liberty in general,  all while making entertaining videos for the world to watch.   I posted this idea at:
http://forum.freekeene.com/index.php?topic=5614.0

I suspect that the Liberty community will be some of the very first to adopt Bitcoin on a wide scale, so I think this is a great opportunity for the Bitcoin community to begin working with the Liberty community.  (I know there is a lot of overlap already)

I would love to hear the Bitcoin community's thoughts on this plan.
Feel free to post your thoughts in this forum or on the Free Keene forum.

I love Free Talk live. I have been a free state member for about two years.  I hope to move in a couple of months.

It is a great Idea indeed... I'm really on the fence on this one.... How can we have a wonderful global society if were cramming all the positive, forward thinking, hard working people in one area. Shouldn't we be diversifying, spreading wisdom, and free information to everyone?

Instead we isolate the gene pools that need stirred up the most and they stagnate.  We then prop them up with cigarette and pay-per-view money because that's somehow better than paying them to dig a hole and then fill it back in.  When you are raised in a welfare family it is often all you know.  Work ethic can be learned, but not unless the opportunity is there.  The US needs to realize that we all have a lot to learn from each other.  Building echo chambers isn't as effective as sharing, but that requires giving and taking.

   Amen to that, brother!

We will finally get to meet 'God' when humans are capable of collectively exchanging thoughts, ideas and spirits in a limitless medium that connects the entire population.

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system.
