Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Good question though cos most of projects are rubbish and they aren't worth ur time. I'd like to find the source of real projects.

https://bountylord.com/

I often use the two links above to see the bounty list, this website handles the bounty details and links directly to the bitcointalk tread.

Me too I'm also looking for a good project that offering a good bonus in their ICO's but many of the ICO now are scam so that I'm looking for the legit project that will not run after the ICO end. Now I'm just looking in some group in the telegram that offering good ICO but I'm not 100% sure about it so that I keep checking their site and people who behind on the project.

Add another one: icodrop, most of the time project list on icodrop won't suddenly disappear, but I don't believe icobench, a lot of fake project and just a paid per expert reviews, I always check bitcointalk Announcement thread and find potential project, I need to spend more time to research

In addition to websites provided by the above members, I will suggest you to check the website and team of the ICO company, check profile of the company on different social media's forum, like how active they are in responding people on telegram, Facebook, reddit, twitter etc. How people is responding to their ICO,(how much is the investment currently and how it is increasing). Usually ranking of ICO on different forums does not explain it authenticity.

You can find information on many ICO projects, but they usually only have a brief history of the ICO's team. Most of you still have to research and learn about it.

I can't even trust them all because they have been getting paid to list the ico. Icodrop is the only one that can be considered as a reliable source right now. DYOR is the best choice considering OP must take care with his money. There are dozens of ico list site but there are only some of them worth to be watched.

there're lots of infor about the ICO you can find on the internet
just take some time and do some research though.
to me, I would spend time to confirm that some people that they listed in white paper if it's true or not.

All good suggestions above. One other thing I like to do is look at VC portfolios to see where they are putting their money. This will lead you to find projects weeks/months prior to their ICO so you can really take your time to do research and get to know the teams.

Joining the community at these very early stages can sometimes lead to opportunities to earn coins.

One example of that is Hadron. I saw it in a couple of portfolios in September. I started visiting their Telegram channel regularly and was selected to participate in their mining testnet. I am earning coins in exchange for contributing computing resources through my internet browser. The cool part is that scientists at the Space Telescope Institute are using Hadron's artificial intelligence systems to study images from the Hubble Space Telescope!

Whatever the website is you will never know if the ICO is legit or not until it finalized or end date of sale because review sites are paid so technically it will say something good about it. Currently, I suggest not to invest in ico's as most of them will not succeed with this kind of situation.
