Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Stop talking about trust with your bright red sign "TRADE WITH EXTREME CAUTION" Go somewhere else.

Nobody's gonna use forum escrow for such big deals. It will be a platform specifically for OTC trades. This is a forum for information exchange

I’m sorry, since when does video actually prove anything.

I’ll buy a coin at £4200 if you’re a legitimate seller (that’s $5500 right?). Any uk based cryptocurrency solicitors will do for the escrow service (there’s one in Manchester I know of).

This is either an escrow scam or the Op is going to attempt to scam, using watch only addresses as proof. I've seen and experienced this in-play. The only way to prove he has them coins, is to sign messages from the addresses holding them, and even at that, any interested buyer must use only escrows they know or are familiar with.

I signed message doesn’t go far enough. You need a signed message that’s dated.

There was a scam posted here of an old address that stores 1000 btc signed by.a user here and a user was making it into a giveaway thread and then changed the terms so that they could get paid (which got spotted by moderators but the moderators resized everything to 1pt, they didn’t remove it which was a bit disappointing as it meant users were still trying to send money to the new address.

I have always advocated for the use of exchanges for such trades so as to clear any form of mistrust
