Yes i think this can be a new hope, and if all go on a good trend then the bitcoin can grow and also the legit projects will grow and will help all holders to make some profit and new investors and new money will come again on crypto.

Bakkt will probably not be any type of savior. They are offering a one day physically settled BTC future as their primary product. Their goal right now is to get the simplest form of a typical ICE future (they are owned by the ICE, they tend to do physical futures) functioning and regulated and then work on scaling up.

They won't make any actual impact anytime soon, however, the products they are trying to bring up could amount to some small positive sentiment as a signal to the ecosystem about how the US securities and futures regulatory bodies will handle crypto.

but at least it's good for the market, maybe the impact hasn't been felt at the beginning. but for the next few years this will make new investors trust Crypto more

Let's be hopeful the Bakkt will be approved. However, until now no positive news when it will be approved and they always postponed. Hoping to happen it this year and major price pump in the market for sure. But the market continue to go down and the Ethereum update was postponed and set to another date.

I would not rely on bakkt to positively influence the crypto market. That is why i do not expect a pump on the crypto market because of bakkt.

None of the events can provide a pump for the entire market, whatever that is (Bakkt, ETF, fork, ...). For big rise, this can only be an auxiliary event.

I think ETF is the main thing in this ecosystem to reach in new heights. But at this moment we are not sure about ETF so bakkt is one of the biggest thing we hope for at this time in this market. And I think maybe they are taking some time for launching the platform but that is very fine. They are also doing business so why they launch their platform when market is down. But they will surely become maybe 2 months or or 2 years it is confirmed that they will enter the market at a point. And they already done the initial fund raising. Just hope that they will come as soon as possible.

BAKKT just release their Q4 result and the profit was very impressive without Crypto, I just hope these just indeed bring their institutional friends and money into the space, we don't want a situation where they would be taming the price of BTC, they should allow market forces to decide the price and since we are getting more  people into the space their price should increase which is basic law of demand

It is not clear why to take Bitcoin (as a technical project it is outdated), it translates for about 10 minutes, take a faster coin. You don’t need to think about the place of a round wheel square, why these freaks from the government are trying to subdue the coin. Hands off the lock. Do not support projects that are trying to subordinate and influence the blockchain, you are killing the meaning of its creation.

As said by the Binance CEO in a tweet, we do not need anything like ETF or BAKKT. These are the things that keep killing our hopes in the crypto industry. Crypto can grow without these things so let's hope that the market recovers earlier than we would expect it to.

Hopefully the pump has already begun. I don't think BTC will get to more than 5k level, but if so it would be great move. Of course I think bakkt will bring a lot of big investors and it can be the reason of new bull run, but also there are a lot of other custody and ETF solutions which can be the reason for the bulls to come.
