Hi guys,
What is the most recent innovation in technology you have heard about?
There are lots of new gadgets and cool stuff on the market and there are endless possibilities to choose from.
What would be the one thing anyone should have in their house?

I haven't heard of any particular piece of technology lately, but I keep reading about advancements in AI technology.  Although, didn't the U.S. military recently roll out some new stealth tech tank?

Innovation can be defined simply as a "new idea, device or method". However, innovation is often also viewed as the application of better solutions that meet new requirements, unarticulated needs, or existing market needs.

I think the concept of augmented reality is very innovative. We now can play AR games on our phones and Facebook already said they’re coming out with their own smart glasses. Must be a tech with huge potential if Facebook is making an investment, right?

I like the latest tablet from apple. It is very expensive, but its functionality is worthy of its money

I’d say Virtual and augmented reality are the most innovative. According to recent news, Facebook and Huawei will be coming out with their own augmented reality glasses. I mean if those huge companies are making huge investments on it, it must be the technology has lots of potential, right?

I've been waiting for VR to be a thing for about two decades now and all I've got so far are crap or "proof of concept" glorified tech demos. Even with all their money, Facebook's Oculus is nothing but disappointment pie. The FOV is too narrow and the resolution too poor for mass adoption. Not to mention that the system requirements basically make it a hobby for the tech elite.

I'd give it at least another decade before I take VR seriously

I've recently bought a new iPhone XS Max and am really loving its AR capabilities. I really enjoy using it with my nephew and nieces. I also like playing games in VR. I think these two, AR and VR will be, or should be, a big thing in the future. It's making every day lives less boring, especially VR. Virtual reality makes you want to live in the virtual world for good.

In my opinion, I would say virtual reality gaming (VR) is the most innovative technology to me so far. It’s a pretty insane concept and with more improvements, it will be a very successful and viable innovation. I don’t think anything will surpass the Internet as an innovation as of right now in this generation.

I agree that VR is very innovative. It’s breaking out of its gaming mold now. Although I still find the equipment to be very expensive, I’m seeing more applications of it now in medicine and research, education, training and even in the arts. I’m actually looking forward to its other, potentially life-changing applications. what about you?

I totally agree with you that VR and AR can make everyday living less boring. Not only do they change the way we view the world, but how we experience the things around us. Some even consider it as an extension of reality or an escape --that's why I'm not surprised how most people want to actually live in a virtual world. I heard it's in the works already. Do you think it can be developed within our lifetime?

Currently, there are many different technologies that make our lives easier. But we have to think too in the people with disabilities. I believe that a productive and humanistic way to expand our science is implementing inclusive technologies that allow the autonomy of guests with different disabilities everywhere.
