LocalBitcoins acts as an escrow, they take the coins into holding until the other party confirms they have received the fiat funds, they are then released to their new owner. It's pretty cool and works well providing both parties are online during the transaction (you only have a set time to complete the transaction before the funds are returned to their original owner)

He's had plenty of chance to post any sort of proof\evidence he has - yet he hasn't come up with anything. Take a look at the above mentioned thread, you will see the user has also left neg trust for other users who disagree with his views. The mods need to clamp down on such abuse.
