Oh its interesting thread! I hope bitcoin banks will build in our country also. We have thousands of user in my country, these users want also to experience bitcoin banks probably. In fact, in telegram community, we discussed having a bitcoin ATM so that we can release our money once it needed. I hope in the next years bitcoin ATM will be popular and built in each country around the world.

That is no such big number.
Maybe I'm wrong but I have the feeling that Bitcoin ATMs are not so popular as they used to be and that bitcoiners don't use them so much anymore.
At least that is the case in my country. Couple years ago ATMs started to appear everywhere but now for a long time there are no new ones. I think that users have other ways to get Bitcoin or exchange it to fiat money.

I live in a country that prohibits bitcoin, so bitcoin ATMs are difficult to access. even to make small bitcoin transactions is very difficult.

I think, Singapore is one of the countries that created ATMs, there are lots of bitcoin ATMs, and Singapore ATM products have been sold to several countries that legalize bitcoin, such as the USA, Venezuela, Argentina, England, Japan and others.

I think the number is greater than 3K worldwide according to this article
https://bitcoinist.com/now-over-3000-bitcoin-atms-worldwide/

There is no need to rely on static articles which get quickly outdated. There is this page for tracking bitcoin ATMs worldwide: https://coinatmradar.com/

The last time i read an article it is exactly 4000 machines all over the world.
This is a good number as of now and we are looking for more numbers to come.
Innovation in the world is really great, people are more aware now on the capability of BTC and alts for their lives.

I used it once at a conference just to try and understand how it works, but in the current realities of the world, it is very difficult to implement ATMs. In some countries, the special services simply take these ATMs and move them in unknown direction

Another milestone for bitcoin ATMS has been reached with 4,000 of these devices accessible on a global scale.

Currently 6 Bitcoin ATMs go online every day! Has anyone used a Bitcoin ATM?

I really don't know that, but in my country, it is located in Bali with a bitcoin ATM. and whoever uses it
I think that in the future bicoin ATMs will be present in all countries except those that prohibit countries that illegalize it like China.

I do not have such statistics on Bitcoin ATMs, but in my country, if there is one, then these are single instances in large cities.

Great resource, but data there isn't updated regularly. You can find not working atms or services, which are not connected online

even I have never tried to use it, so it is a shame to attract bitcoin especially on ATM machines. I think bitcoin is an important asset that can grow instantly and vice versa.
but the bitcoin ATM function can be an alternative when someone needs fast funds.

You don't have to feel bad for not using a Bitcoin ATM we should be happy that we don't have to use one because additional fees on ATMs are much higher compared to BTC exchanges that would only charge you for as low as 1% or even less(depending on the payment method).

Is there anyone who can say surely the exact number of Bitcoin ATMs in the world?
No one can determine the exact number but coinatmradar's website shows a rough estimate of how many there are in the world

I'm curious about Bitcoin ATMs because I've never used it. Maybe I will not be able to use it because my country bans Bitcoin. I wonder what the maximum withdrawal amount is.
However, I think Bitcoin has a virtual value, so will we take the dollar? And when we enter the wallet with a QR code or any other platform?

In this post, there are more than 100,000 bitcoin ATMs in the US. It means the number of BTC ATMs must be very large.

Well it is the best information I could find on the subject, I agree it may be out of date but on the other hand they seem to at least try to do their best to update the info (click View Listing page - there you get the details, the status of the given ATM plus contact info to operator. I agree it might be reasonable to at least call the operator before going to the ATM if it is not a walk disctance).

EDIT: also, they rely on user feedback and everybody can report the ATM as non-operational

This is interesting, never thought it has a lot of atms worldwide. Maybe there are countries still not accepting bitcoin bit the boom of easily accesed atms are possible. In our country i only know one atm existed. And it has a very good location to be placed due the area is a business district. I dont have the chance to see it in person but i already saw it in social media. Bitcoin enthusiasts take selfie from it and i feel proud that we have one atm. But this atms has a high fee for transactions, so somehow people will not use it as of now.
