Bitcoin is created mainly for ordinary people to make transactions without third parties and that payments would be anonymous ! Bitcoin frees humanity from the control of your personal money from the global States. It shows the true face of world democracy and frees us from dictators who think they are kings !

This is because of its decentralized structure. However, there are some differences between democracy and not being the center of economy. Democracy is all about administration. It must be a matter of choice. I think we can give Bitcoin an example of democracy in economic structure.

I agree, although I think that what he might be saying is that decentralization of bitcoin is an example of democracy. Because it is not regulated by the government or any rulers, the users do not have to answer to them, and can use the currency however they want. Furthermore, the transaction is faster than traditional banking or payment systems because there are no third parties. At least that is how I understand the post. I could be wrong, though.

Yes I would like to call it financial democracy, in democracy people are free to chose any govt so as in Bitcoin structure people are free to do financial transactions w/o any third party involved due to its decentralize structure. I see it as tough competition to financial dictatorship controlled by big financial institutions.

I agree with you, bitcoin can save our finances from dictatorial economic power. they cannot control bitcoin.

Decentralized systems make them give up and stop controlling our economic cycle.

I agree with this. with the existence of bitcoin every society has the freedom to determine the storage of their assets without any government interference, besides that Bitcoin is free of state tax.

I agree that bitcoin is free and for ordinary people but it is not simple that only ordinary people can be in the crypto community and like now the big investors have buy bitcoin for future while the other stock holders are now holding a very good amount of money they have and mostly ordinary people work for bitcoin so they make money with that fiat investment has also came into the crypto world and it is also a free democracy because in this every one is free from other people control.

Democracy. Big word.

Yes on the outside you can see that kind of application of a government. But on the inside it is really dictator.  We aint free. No one is. When there is a government no one will be free.

I would not compare democracy to the creation of bitcoin. Yes bitcoin is free. Let it stay that way and not become in control of a government or a certain group.

The right of every holder of bitcoins is an example of true democracy on the blockchain and in the field of  p2p remitance service. The freedom of transactions bitcoin give in a decentralize network is a good example of democracy.

I don't think bitcoin is an example of a democracy since 99.9% of the coins are held by a handful of people. Its democratic in the way maybe its run I.e. the main functionality as in operated by people/miners/investors

I agree ... Bitcoin is trying to revolutionize the next financial world by turning it into pure digital decentralization. Changing the concept of a currency is no longer printed by a country. No longer guaranteed by anything. But guaranteed by the users themselves. Price system based on supply and demand. This is a real democracy.

I can say bitcoin exhibits true democracy only to the point of consensus, but in other aspects of the coin, it's pretty much anarchy if you ask me due to its decentralized nature and absence of a central authority. The choice/democratic part only happens when a fork is imminent, and most of the time, everyone is minding their own thing while taking the same goal: solving blocks and processing transaction in exchange of incentives/rewards or validation of transactions relayed in the network. Being free from the constraints of bank and governments on your own money is more of an anarchic nature rather than democratic.

I agree with you on this but this democracy that you are referring from when it comes to transacting online anonymously was being abused by some people. Some used bitcoin as a means to launder money or even purchase illegal stuffs. That is why the government is really making regulations for us to avoid such crimes that is so rampant nowadays.

Bitcoin or cryptocurrency is partly like democracy because of the  choice one has to make of digital currencies but it is not entirely like democracy because of decentralization. In a democratic setting, money is totally under the control of the government.

What? Where does it say that for a democracy to exist the money must be controlled by government. Democracy is where every person, rich or poor, smart or dumb, has the same vote and the same influence over the path taken by the group. This group can be a small society, a village, or a whole country.
We can have a democratic society without a treasury. The most important part of the system is not money, but the involvement of every member of the group.

Bitcoin would be something like that if each user was mining. This way each of us could decide if we want to mine this or that block, but how many of us, users, are really mining? 1%? How many run an updated full node? My full node is at 205 GB  Undecided

I do not know what you mean by "True Democracy" so I cannot really agree or disagree. What I know is that Bitcoin gave the people the "power" to choose a payment system without anyone blocking or interfering their transaction.

Exactly, democracy means that people have right to choose and Bitcoin definetely gives you alternative and choice.
The problem is that people often mix democracy with anarchy and that everyone can do what it will without any rule and that isn't true. That is why I see that some think Bitcoin should be without any rule and they mix centralization with regulation so sometimes we have quite a mess when it comes to freedom that Bitcoin actually represents.

agree, by not interfering with organizations that are trying to control the world's finances, I think the existence of bitcoin is very helpful for everyone in conducting democratic transactions, we can also feel unique features when using BTC as a transaction medium, such as cheaper fees, transaction speed faster, simpler, and can be done anywhere

Wonder where you got the figure of 99.9 % ? We are talking about the fact that mankind has suffered hundreds of thousands of years from taxes and control over the financial flows of each person. Now people themselves can manage their own finances and to their business did not climb people who have nothing to do there. In some countries, the word "democracy" means nothing and it is sad, but bitcoin makes the world a better place. Bitcoin is independent and people use it so people become more independent too.

Bitcoin is indeed an innovation that is capable of managing personal assets without the help of other parties, all of these are managed independently and will be a good opportunity in making good decisions.
